Quakers coconut oats

Spotted these Quaker Oat so simple Coconut flavour at Poundland so decided to give then a go.

As well as coconut, they also had vanilla and blueberry but last time I had blueberry for Quakers it was a bit artificial.

The coconut flavours were definitely aromatic that you could smell it from another room.

The coconut flavouring is similar to bounty.

Overall, they were tasty and not too sweet which allows you to add other things in your porridge.

After trying so many foods, it occured to me that the same flavours are different in different countries like strawberry and coconut so it must mean their flavouring library is a bit different or the taste palette is different for different countries.

Lidl Veganuary finds

It's the month of veganuary again and lots of supermarkets have their offerings for vegans.

At Lidl, here were my finds:

Vegan ploughmans, vegan coleslaw, vegan jackfruit rolls, beetroot burgers, lentil cottage pie, mushroom risotto, mushroom bolognese, chili non carne, vegan one pot meals, vegan Greek style feta and vgean Italian style grated cheese.

[Review] Tesco Belgian chocolate choux buns

I love profiteroles so got the Tesco Belgian chocolate choux buns filled with British cream which are similar but like a giant profiterole.

The choux pastry was actually quite stiff and dry but it was interestly thin compared to M&S.

Inside there was a generous amount of cream which actually filled the capacity inside the choux bun but the taste of the cream was a bit thick that it tasted like stabilized cream.

Overall, they were not bad and the Belgian chocolate topping was not too sweet.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Creamed spinach

Creamed spinach is a side dish that I always order at the restaurant but due to the current situation you can't so I got the Marks and Spencers Creamed spinach.

The creamed spinach was really tasty and not too creamy so I really enjoyed it.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers gastropub Madagascan vaniilla custard

At M&S, there are quite a few custards, this time I tried the Marks and Spencers gastropub Madagascan vaniilla custard which was a bit too rich and sweet for my liking.
