[Review] Coop GRO Plant based eating Beet Burgers

I was surprised that Coop had their own line of plant based products when I visited a bigger store.
As a foodie I ended up getting the Coop GRO Plant base eating Beet Burgers which I put down twice because it had lentils in it.
In the end I got it anyway and I was really glad I got it.
The texture was really nice and when you bite in it, there are chunks of beets and onions so it won't be too dry.
There were not too many lentils in the burger which was good because I find them distracting but overall it was really tasty that I went back for more.

[Review] Quorn Southern Fried Poppers

After trying the delicious KFC imposter burger which was made of Quorn, I had high hopes for this because I was expecting it to taste something on the lines of that.

Sadly, the texture was weird and the Southern coating didn't have much taste to it which was strange because Quorn rarely disappoints.

[Review] Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers Roast Gravy

I love gravy, so this time I tried Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers Roast Gravy.

When it was in the tub, you could see that the gravy was swishing about which is good because it means that there are no thickeners and gummy stuff.

As for the taste, it was basically ONIONS, so you can just think of it as a sweet onion gravy full stop!

[Review] Waitrose Lamb Gravy

I love gravy so when I saw that the Waitrose lamb gravy had port, rosemar, mint and redcurrant jelly, the combination of these ingredients together was good so got it.
However I was really disappointed because the gravy was too rich that you couldn't taste any notes of the rosemary, mint or the redcurrants.

Hellmann's real mayonnaise

Nothing beats real mayonnaise like Hellmann's.

It is simply the best.

In countries like Hong Kong, it is terrible that they use salad cream as mayonnaise because some people simply do not know what real mayonnaise tastes like or what it is!!!

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Cod Loins

I love cod, so got the Marks and Spencers cod loins which are boneless.
They were sold by weight and vacuumned packed.
The quality of the cod was really good and it made delicious Cod bouillabaise.

[Review] Sainsbury's Glazed ring doughnuts

At Sainsbury's there are two types of donuts, the freshly baked ones and the previously frozen ones.
You can tell the difference from the packaging, the fresh ones come in paper bags while the frozen ones come in nice boxes.
This time I tried the previously frozen ones and got the glazed ring doughnuts.
They also have iced donuts but I prefer the glazed topping.
In terms of the taste, it is definitely different, it is not as yeasty and the texture is not as springy but they aren't bad but if you had a choice, I would definitely recommend the freshly baked ones.
