[Review] Morrisons Rhubarb Lattice pie

Spotted the Morrisons Rhubarb Lattice pie so as a rhubarb fan I had to try it.
You can get them single or in a twin pack which is obviously cheaper.
The pie crust is pretty much the same as the pie crust that you get for Morrisons pies but it is sweet.
Overall, it was quite a nice Rhubarb pie because the chunks of rhubarb were really tart yet the sweetness of the pastry balances it nicely.
Probably even better if served with custard.

[Review] Morrisons Haslet

Haslet or acelet is a pork meatloaf with herbs, originally from Lincolnshire.
They are made from stale white bread, ground pork, sage, salt and black pepper.
Discovered them at Morrisons hence got a pack to try, after trying a slice I felt that they tasted like sausages so I am going to have it with toast and ketchup suggested by an instagram user.
Having it with toast and ketchup was definitely delicious just like the way some people have ketchup with sausage rolls.
Photos of the haslet slices in the paper bag was the old packaging and the new sealed version is much better.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Cocoa Bircher

Bircher oats is a cold, fruity porridge. The oats and apple are steeped in liquid overnight, plumping and softening.
I have been contemplating whether to get it or not before I thought it was going to be very chocolatey.
Once I tried it, the taste was so different to what I was expecting.
It was like thick oats with a natrual yoghurt taste followed by chocolate.
Each spoonful was loaded with apples and I even found an apple stalk.
Overall a nice dessert that looks chocolatey but not sweet at all packed with finely shredded apples.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Battered Mini Sausages Chip Shop Style

I am so glad I got these M&S Battered Mini Sausages Chip Shop Style which probably taste as good as chip shop sausages.
You can really taste the vinegar on the batter as if it was freshly sprinkled on from the chip shop.
I think if the experience would have totally been different if they had left out the vinegar because it really took it to the chip shop level as well as made it moreish!
The curry sauce was also there for that comforting factor.

[Review] Morrisons Vanilla Crème Crown

The Morrisons Vanilla Crème Crown is light, flaky Danish pastry crown, filled with crème pâtissière and topped with hazelnut slices.
I definitely recommend trying this because not many danish pastries are topped with hazelnut slices.
Overall it was nice.

[Review] Morrisons Toffee Apple Crown

The Toffee Apple Crown at Morrisons is quite nice and unique because so far I haven't seen any other supermarket doing toffee apple crowns.
The apples are finely diced and the whole thing is sweet and gooey.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Celebration Naked Red Velvet Cake

At M&S, there is the regular Red velvet cake and the Naked Celebration Red Velvet cake which serves eight.
It has three layers of moist red velvet sponge which is filled and finished with soft cream cheese frosting, then topped with white chocolate curls, crispy biscuit balls and red velvet crumb.
Overall, I loved it because the red velvet sponge tastes amazing but the only let down was the bottom layer which was a bit too soggy.
