[Review] THIS isn't bacon rashers

A while ago THIS launched quite a few items like THIS isn't bacon or chicken but as a bacon lover I had my eyes on the bacon.
Coughlans bakery is doing a crossover with THIS where they are selling these bacon turnovers using THIS isn't bacon.

To be honest the @this.uk bacon didn't look appetizing straight out the packet because of the Burgundy colour but once it was pan fried it tasted and smelled like bacon.

The only giveaway that it wasn't real bacon was the texture which doesn't have the resistance like bacon when you bite into it.

I think if you pan fry it for longer and get it crispy, it might work but it could also make the texture dry so on the second time I had it, I pan fried the bacon until it was crispy but it was dry just like I guessed.
Ideally, it tastes the best if you just pan fry it for a few seconds so that it is soft and tender.
Overall, I highly recommend trying this product if you like bacon.

[Review] New York Bagel Co Pumpkin Spice Spooky Halloween Bagels

I am not really much of a bagel fan but the limited edition Pumpkin spice was definitelyworth trying because of the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves spices.
Visually, the bagel is orange like the colour of the pumpkin.
All these spices and the lovely sweet aroma of this bagel calls for a sweet filling so I put some thick cream on it.
To add to the sweetness, I put pieces of almond icing and it ended up the best sweet bagel that I have ever had.
It is good that the bagel is not sweet by default so that it gives you room to add whatever sweet spreads that you want.
As for the texture, it was just right for me in the sense that it was not too hard and chewy.

[Review] Sainsbury's Just Cook Singapore Style noodles

I love Singapore rice noodles so grabbed the Just Cook Singapore Style noodles where you just add whatever you please like vegetables and meat.

Added julienne carrots to the noodles and the Singapore style noodles tasted great.

The taste is different to the takeaways because it is not as spicy and there is a slight sour taste to it but not bad.

Kelloggs Green onion / Spring onion cereal chex hits shelves in Hong Kong

Korean Kelloggs Green onion / Spring onion cereal chex hits shelves in Hong Kong.
To be honest, green onion isn't a bad idea if it was 100% savoury but I wouldn't like it if it was sweet and savoury.
I think these crispy pieces of Spring onion chex would taste nice on congee if they are 100% savoury.

[Review] Wall's Vegan Jumbo Sausage Roll

I love sausage rolls so I am trying to try all the vegan sausage rolls as well as regular meat ones.
Wall's are a sausage specialist and now they have vegan sausage rolls as well so it would be interesting to see how they fare.
The Wall's Vegan Jumbo Sausage Roll is made with hooba mince and looks like your regular sausage roll.
As for the taste, I was really impressed because it was tasty and the texture was just like sausage so this is one of my new vegan sausage roll favourites.

[Review] Wall's Ready baked Sausages

Wall's Ready baked Sausages are convenient because you just pop them in the microwave and they are ready to eat.
They taste just the same so it saves the trouble of cooking it and washing the pan as well as waiting ages for it in the oven.
