M&S Marks and Spencers Yumnut and new bakery bag finds

The bakery at M&S is always captivating with something for everyone especially the pastries, doughnut to yumnuts.
The yumnuts are so decadent.
During Valentines, Easter and Christmas, there are some special editions like Santas Belt and the Hot Cross Bun yumnut.
I ended up trying the Billionaires yumnut because I love toffee.

[Review] Sainsburys Toffee apples for Halloween and Bonfire night

Halloween is round the corner so you will why lots of toffee apples at the supermarkets.
It brings me memories of bobbing apples at a Halloween party where we had to bite some apples that were floating in a cauldron.
This year, I started my Halloween with a toffee apple from Sainsburys as I have not posted any before.
The one I got was from Sainsburys.
Taking a bite which I literally couldn't because it was rock hard and turned out to be a little bit painful with the hard surface of the apple knocking against my teeth!
In the end I broke into the apple with a spoon and it was quite delicious with the texture of the sweet juicy apple against the crunchy chewy candy coating which I believe is sugar and not toffee.
Overall, if you have never tried a toffee apple, why not try it.

[Review] Lambertz Lebkuchen Hearts Dark Chocolate

Spotted the Lambertz Lebkuchen Hearts Dark Chocolate at Waitrose.
When I saw the description Fruity apricot filled gingerbread covered with dark chocolate and milk chocolate decoration I had to get them because they sounded like Jaffa Cakes but even better because of the apricot filling.
I literally couldn't stop eating them because the apricot filling was so moreish and the soft gingerbread was just like the texture of jaffa cakes.
Overall, I was really pleased I tried these Lebkuchen Hearts.

[Review] Lidl's just free Vanilla Soy Pot

At Lidl, they had various of soy yoghurts to choose from under the just free soy pot range with vanilla, original and blueberry.
It was hard choosing between the original and the vanilla so ended up getting the Vanilla.
As for the taste, it was a bit too sweet for my liking and the vanilla taste was rather artificial but not offending.
You can see some specks of brown in the yoghurt which appear to be vanilla seeds.

[Review] Lidl's SpeedFeast Flamed Grilled chicken sandwich

The current leaders of fast food convenience burgers are obviously Rustlers but you will find that Lidl has their version called SpeedFast while Aldi has Quicksters.

Anyway, I wasn't captivated at by Lidl's version because of the price, it wasn't any cheaper than Rustlers so why pay the same price for a different brand.

Decided to try it just for the sake of comparing and it was actually quite good, the bonus points is that the amount of mayonnaise is generous compared to Rustlers and the bun was soft and fluffy.

The only minus points was the quality of the patty even though it did taste good but it was evidently processed chicken just like the stuff inside chicken nuggets.

[Review] Lidl's Vegan Festive Feast with vegan mayonnaise and cranberry sauce

Almost every supermarket is doing their version of vegan festive sandwiches.
So far I have only tried Marks and Spencers so trying Lidl's version should be interesting as well as Boots.
The Lidl version was rather bland, it lacked cranberry sauce as well as mayonnaise.
It was screaming out in every bite that I was eating mock meat because the protein pieces were chewy and had a strange taste.
Luckily it was reduced because I don't think it is worth full price.
