[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Count on us Beef & ale casserole

Spotted the Marks and Spencers Count on us Beef & ale casserole which I didn't hesitate to get because beef and ale never fails.
I love the use of beer and wine in dishes because it just takes the dishes to another level.

The beef is basically in a mushroom and ale sauce paired with smoky potato mash.

It so was delicious that I forgot to take a picture until halfway through because the sauce really beefy with a salty kick from the ale.
Overall, I really loved it especially the mushrooms which have absorbed the sauce and mixing the mash in the sauce was just divine.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Shepherd's Pie Mini Meal 200g and Meal for one

I love the meal range at Marks and Spencers as they have the regular portion or the mini meals with items like cottage pie, bangers and mash, lamb roast etc.
This time I got the Marks and Spencers Shepherd's Pie Mini Meal to see if it was good.
Overall, it was good but the mince was not to my liking as it had lots of chewy bits.
In general, I felt that the mince at MS is a let down like the minced beef pie I had the other time.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Made without wheat Gluten free Beef Lasagne

Again, another let down by the mince otherwise the Lasagne would have been delicious.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Souper Broccoli & Spinach Soup

Update Jan 2022:
Since 2020, the recipe has changed and I felt that it tastes better.
The new version has yoghurt in it and does not taste so bitter with more of a savoury note however the ginger is slightly stronger.
It is now labellled as protein-rich soup made with broccoli, spinach, peas, edamame soybeans, spring cabbage and leeks, finished with a dash of yoghurt.

May 2020:
I love anything green especially veggies so the Marks and Spencers Souper Broccoli & Spinach Soup appealed to me.
There are two other green soups that I am planning to try which is the broccoli and Stilton and the green pea and mint soup.
Overall, I thought the Broccoli & Spinach Soup was a bit grassy and bitter but I liked it.
Other greens in this soup are edamame, spring cabbage, leeks, kale and some coriander.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Vegetable Quiche

The quiche range at Marks and Spencers is wonderful.
So far, I have tried most of the range except for the Vegetable Quiche.
I have also tried the mushroom but unfortunately I didn't blog back then.

The vegetable quiche is really colour and looks Mediterranean with all the marinated vegetables with finely chopped Butternut squash, courgette, red pepper, spinach and onion.
According to the box, there is matured cheddar and regato in the egg custard but the cheese wasn't that strong to me because I thought the red pepper over powered everything.

So I prefer the mushroom quiche is if I had to choose a veggie quiche out the range.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Lochmuir Salmon & Broccoli Quiche

The range of quiche at Marks and Spencers has always been good.
It was one of the regular items that my mum would buy but I just haven't posted it before.
For the salmon quiche, you get the nice balance of broccoli florets and the salmon which has a nice salty kick to it.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Cod in Parsley Sauce

I love it when I see meals at that remind me of school dinners especially the Marks and Spencers Cod in Parsley Sauce which was served at school.
Most people didn't like their school dinners but mine were delicious, our school somehow had everything.

It is probably easier reheating this than making it myself so without hesitation I go the Cod in Parsleu sauce.
The meal also comes with mash, carrots and peas.

Overall, I was really satisfied because the cod was flakey and the parsley sauce tasted how it did at school.
