M&S Marks and Spencers Cook with Vegetable & Barley Soup mix
While shopping at M&S I discovered this vegetable and barley soup mix.
The soup mix only had four simple ingredients: celery, carrots, leek and parsley along with the sachet of barley and split lentils.
You wouldn't believe how good it smelled and tasted without any addition of meat.
It was such a comforting soup and reminded me of playground chopping up carrots for vegetable soup.

ASDA has also followed the savoury band wagon with their Extra Special Tomato & Red Leicester Hot Cross Buns launched this year.
I am not really a hot cross bun fan because of raisins but these few years I have been eating them because of the different flavours.

Marmite hot cross bun with marmite cheese! The best way of eating it is toasting it because the marmite really comes out so be warned if you hate marmite.
