African Bitter Kola Nuts

African Bitter Kola Nuts.
These bitter kola nuts which visually look like Brazil nuts were so different to the Kola Nuts I previously tried.
The bitterness is different and the texture is different.
First the smell and bitterness was more like ginseng.
The structure of this was a bit like a yam with stems in the middle which ooze with thick liquid when sliced in half.
Anyway, tried it for the sake of trying it and the liberty of being able to get hold of it.
If you google it, there are health benefits just like other things.

Appletiser

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
apple Appletiser:

I used to drink this all the time in the UK when I was a kid so I assumed it was British, but this drink is actually African.
I like this drink because it does not contain any sugar, it was pure fizzy apple juice which quenched my thirst.
This drink was formerly called Appletise but since people kept calling it Appletiser, the drink was renamed Appletiser!

NAKUMATT BLUE LABEL potato crisps Chili and Lemon

Thanks to Gary for getting me these Chili and Lemon crisps from Africa!
The packaging was bold, bright and simple using blue and orange as complementary colours.

I was surprised they had this flavour in Africa.

Basically they taste like Salt and Vinegar crisps with a chili kick to it and the colour of the crisps are orange.

McDonalds: South Africa

McDonalds in South Africa
http://www.mcdonalds.co.za/

The website had English and it was the simplest website of all the McDonalds, there was nothing fancy about it!

Found two items of interest: Grilled chicken foldover and the vegetarian burger.
