Spearmint chews penny sweets

It has been ages since I had a spearmint chew, those sweets you get a the newsagents sold as penny sweets.
I found them tasting like sweet toothpaste or perhaps my tastebuds have changed.
To be fair, these chews are a different brand to the regular spearmint chews.
Also they are sugar free when I googled them which might have affected the taste.

Kinder Maxi King

This was a random snack I picked up from Sainsburys and I couldn't believe how good it was and this is my new favourite Kinder snack.
I have never really been into Kinder snacks but this one is different.
Its like a ferrero inside out. You got that ferrero hazelnut outside coated on a really really thin layer of wafer!!!
There isnt any chocolate paste which makes it dreamy and light as the white stuff is almost like gooey marshmallow and then you get this liquid caramel centre.

M&S Plant Kitchen spinach ravioli

I love ravioli and the Marks and Spencer Plant kitchen ravioli were interesting because they were filled with spinach and cannellini beans.
I don't know why but many plant/vegan recipes like to use cannellini as a ingredient such as the no egg cress sandwich.
Overall, the filling had a nice texture and it was not as starchy as I imagined because of the beans but I felt that it lacked something.
Adding some salt made it slighty better.

Peppa Pig Really Cheesy Lentil Puffs by Seabrooks (Vegan)

Lots of people have said the Peppa Pig Really Cheesy Lentil Puffs are good so I decided to give the a go.
I found them quite tasty and similar to wotsits but with a firmer texture and it was not as cheesy as anticipated.
When you munch them, they some how go quite viscous and sticky in your mouth.

Heston from Waitrose Salt Beef Pretzel Sub

I couldn't believe how delicious Heston's Salt Beef Pretzel Sub was.
I was supposed to just try a few bites and save the rest for tommorrow but I ended up munching the whole sub!
The salt beef slices were top notch and the gherkins were the star of the show with a good crunch and tang that made it moreish.
I wish McDs used these gherkins in their burgers and I won't be picking them out.
The pretzel sub was another winning combination that held it together as it had a nice chew without being too firm like a bagel.

Waitrose Chunky Haddock fish fingers

I love fish fingers and the Waitrose Haddock ones appealed to me because haddock is a tasty fish.
When it was in the oven, there was a lovely fish aroma and inside there you got succulent flakey fish.
Overall, these fish fingers were really good but sadly there were three pieces of bone in it.
