[Review] Sainsburys Duck & Orange Pate with an orange topping

I love pates so tried Sainsburys Duck & Orange Pate with an orange topping which was launched for Christmas.

Compared to their regular pate without the orange, the texture so really silky and it melts in your mouth.

The orange topping complimented it nicely while the liqueur was well balanced.

[Review] Sainsburys British Beef slices

I love ham slices so got Sainsburys beef slices which are reformed beef with less than 10% added water and starch.

Strangely, I like the taste of reformed ham so I expected the same for beef and it was.

It was a bit like pastrami but with a ham texture and tasted great in sandwiches.

[Review] Sainsburys Brussels style Pate with Cranberry

I love pates so tried Sainsburys Brussels & Cranberry Pate which was launched for Christmas.

It is a smooth pork liver, pork and cranberry pate with a cranberry jelly topping.

Compared to their regular pate without the cranberry, the texture so really silky and it melts in your mouth but the taste was a bit too sweet for my liking.

[Review] M&S Marks Spencers Rare Roast Beef

I love beef slices so got the Marks Spencers Rare Roast Beef which is hand trimmed topside of beef lightly seasoned with salt and mustard.

The slices were thin and lean to my liking and tasted great in sandwiches as well as paired with some pickles.

Although it is meant to be RAW according to the ingredients, the beef is well cooked.
