MANDY Vegetal cu Broccoli and Vegetal cu Spanac (Veggie broccoli Pate and spinach pate) 200g (Romanian)

It's not my first time getting this brand so when I saw the broccoli one I knew it would be nice because pureed broccoli has this unique taste.
The spinach was a bit grassy but what makes all their veg spreads tasty is the umami kick which probably comes from msg or mushrooms but I cant read the ingredients.

Mandy Fasole Batuta (Romanian pease pudding)

Spotted this interesting Mandy Fasole Batuta at the corner shop which I decided to try because it was slightly different to the vegetable spreads in the Mandy range.
From the illustration its just beans and onion.
Taking a spoonful, I was shocked how nice it was.
It's similar to refried beans with a baked bean aftertaste yet somehow comforting which then I realized it tasted like my favourite pease puddings at Ivy's at Chrisp Street market.
The texture was silky and velvety but thicker than pease pudding with a slight dryness.

According to the label, it serves four but I was able to eat it all in one go because it was so delicious.  
Definitely stocking more.

Ginsters Heinz beanz and cheese slice

Finally got my hands on them.
A common filling for many bakes/slices but new to the ginsters range.
Overall nice.
Normally they taste better warm but this particular one, the beans are more flavourful cold with tomato but the pastry is waxy.
When warm, I felt the filling was saltier, peppery and beans are starchier with chewy bean skin.

Bangladeshi Snack: Danish fried peas

This was just like picking out the peas in a Bombay mix.
Too spicy for my tastebuds.

Greggs Fish Finger Sandwich

Finally the Fish Finger sandwich is available in the City of London.
Made to order but unfortunately the one I got, the fish had been done for ages and probably under a heat lamp hence the hard and chewy texture.
The fish was longer silky but coarse like rope.
The lettuce shown on the picture was salad mix.
Overall, it would have been nice judging by the would have been flaky fish but I went at the wrong time.
According to staff, the fish fingers are thrown away after 2 hours of cooking so I reckon my fish fingers were in the heat lamp for less than 2 hours but just under because they were not thrown away yet.

Greggs Northern delights down south in London for one day only 4/4/2025.
The corned beef bake.
I was so lucky to get my hands on one in London for the price of a trains ride.
Available at Leicester Square, the Strand, Primark oxford street and Embankment Station.

Aldi Crestwood Lamb hotpot

Another A Class comforting meal from Aldi.
Delicious lamb hot pot.
Tasty lamb mince and potato slices.
There was actually quite a fair bit of lamb left which needed some bread to polish it off.
