Sainsbury's Taste the difference Chocolate Orange Reindeer Bao buns.

Sainsbury's Chocolate Orange Reindeer Bao buns.
These are decorated steamed buns with a chocolate and orange peel sauce.
Finally a supermarket that offers bao buns with a sweet filling and not a sweet savoury filling.
As expected, it was tasty filled with molten chocolate with a fragrant orange kick to it.
The texture of the bao could have been fluffier, again I did not follow the instructions and microwaved them for 20 seconds.
Hoping to see caramel fillings or even chocolate hazelnut in the future.

Aldi Specially Selected Sweet & Sour Veg Present Bao Buns

Aldi Specially Selected Sweet & Sour Veg Present Bao Buns.
To be honest, I only got them because they were pretty with red bows that looks like Hello Kitty.
I was bowled over by how good they were because they were not as sweet as anticipated.
It is nothing like the proper sweet and sour but mostly crunchy sweetcorn and it strangely worked!
Not only was the bao bun soft and fluffy from 20 seconds in the microwave, the filling was actually decent tasting.
I CAN DEFINITELY CONFIRM 20 SECONDS IN THE MICROWAVE IS ENOUGH ON A 900W MICROWAVE.

Oyakata TanTanmen style ramen

Oyakata new tantanmen noodles, lovely smell of the peanut and sesame from the broth powder.
Tasty and not too spicy.

M&S turkey feast lasagne

I can't get enough of stuffing and turkey so had to try the new M&S turkey feast lasagne which is labelled as layers of egg pasta with slow cooked turkey ragu, sausage meat and cranberry stuffing with a rich bechamel sauce.
Not your conventional lasagne but I loved it.
To be honest, you don't taste the cranberries as there isn't much but visually you do see some bits of red in between the sheet.
Overall, it was to my liking as it is savoury, creamy from the bechamel sauce with chunks of turkey and sausage meat and then you get the freshness from the lush green parsley.
The texture of the turkey was really tender like pulled chicken and tasty so well done Marks and Spencers.
Cooking instructions are 40 minutes in the oven but I microwaved it for 2 minutes and it was all good.

ASDA ginger and caramel snow cake

This is a seriously good alternative Christmas cake for cake lovers like me.
It is a three layered Madeira and gingerbread flavoured sponge cake with layers of caramel sauce.
Covered with vanilla frosting, glistening shimmer and decorated with pretty gingerbread houses and stars.
The cake was just lush, the soft gingerbread sponge and caramel sauce in the middle was delicious.
A must buy!!

ALDI Ruby Port, Fig and Pear Puff Pastry Mince Pies

The idea of Ruby Port, Fig and Pear in the form of a cheesy mince pie sounded nice so I had to try it.
The mince pies which look like sausage rolls tasted very different warmed and at room temperature.
At room temperature you can taste the sweet filling more while warmed the cheesy buttery pastry came out stronger.
Overall, it was nice but the pastry was quite thick.

Giant mutant oysters from Blackwater Oysters in Essex at the Farmers Market

Size matters.
I was so lucky to get hold of two mutant oysters because this is one of those rare lifetime opportunities.
It was much bigger and cheaper than the previous one I got in a London.
I was in shock when I saw the size of it that I got a bit too excited.
The best thing is that there is an area where you can eat your oysters and they even had a metal knife which makes it easy to eat.
The oysters are shucked in front of you and William opened them effortlessly.
I had the oyster straight and was surprised that the taste was intense with a salty kick.
With its monstrosity, the scallop muscle was big and sweet.
These oysters are depurated if you are in the know.
There is fresh lemon and condiments there as well.
Having regretted terribly from previously throwing away the shell from the last oyster one, I was prepared this time with an old bubble padded envelope to put the shell in but the shell turned out to be much bigger so what a lucky girl I was.
There are only a few each week as these giants take up space and what's more funny is that they also take up space in the oyster bed at sea.
The one I had was 8 years old like an old cat but I'm not sure how long oysters live for.
Anyway, I am so blessed to be acquainted with these as their oyster farm is far away in Essex.
