Batchelors NEW Mexican chicken fajita & Japanese Katsu Curry Super Noodles

New to the Batchelors Super noodle series are the Mexican chicken fajita & Japanese Katsu Curry.

Everything is katsu these days.

As a super noodle fan, I had to get them from ASDA.

The Japanese katsu is definitely new as it has been trending the last few years however the chicken fajita seems really similar as they have launched similar limited edition flavours before.

The chicken fajita was really spicy and batchelors do not hold back on the heat!!

The Katsu curry was much milder with a sweetness and some heat.

Sainsburys white sugarloaf pineapple - Taste the difference Summer Edition

I love the seasonal products at Sainsburys because there are so much treats to discover.

This time it was the sugarloaf pineapple which got my attention especially the name which makes it sound really sweet.

Normally I find the hard woody pineapple stem the sweetest so I thought these pineapple chunks were stem pieces.

It turns out that some were stem pieces and some were outer pieces of the pineapple.

Overall, the taste was not as sweet as expected but it was refreshing.

The colour of the sugarloaf pineapple was interestingly paler compared to other pineapples I have seen.

Tenzing natural pineapple & passionfruit energy drink

Overall not a bad drink as it tasted natrual but there was an interesting bitter aftertaste which made it taste alcoholic even though it is alcohol free.

Quorn Lasagne

As a curious foodie I have to try everything, this time I tried the Quorn lasagne which is basically vegetarian because of the cheese.

I felt that the lasagne overall was nice with a good tomato sauce and pasta sheet layers with a lovely creamy sauce.

However the texture of the quorn was a bit mushy for my liking.

Mr Kiplings Deliciously good slices with real fruit

Mr Kipling's New Deliciously Good range of Slices and Pies contain 30% less sugar and are made with real fruit.

They are said to have as little as 99 calories per portion making them healthier.

As a Mr Kipling fan, I had to try them so I got the bakewell slices.

Unfortunately I was really disappointed because of the taste, the sweetener made it taste horrible and not natrual.

The colour of the pink filling looked bad as well.

If you are not on diet, I would stay clear of these slices.

M&S Right Royal Yumnut

Its time for Yumnuts again because it is the Right Royal Yumnut for me because it is topped with cherry fondant.

It was definitely decadent without being too sweet because of the punchy cherry fondant.

However, I would rather it didn't have the freeze dried raspberry pieces because it distracts you from the cherry fondant and the seeds were annoying.

Bimuno Daily prebiotics

Just started on these Bimuno Daily prebiotics which can be added to any food or drink without affecting the taste.

Let's see how I feel in a weeks time.
