Tesco toffee apple/belgian chocolate sponge pudding

Who doesn't love puddings. Tescos have two new sponge puddings Toffee apple and Belgian chocolate.
Personally I liked the toffee apple where you can smell the toffee but there wasn't much of the toffee apple compote at the bottom.
It reminded me of eves pudding from M&S which has apple compote and also served upside down.
The chocolate was ok, just your bog standard chocolate pud with a rich chocolate sauce.

Tesco confetti trifle cake

Spotted the new Tesco confetti trifle cake so had to try it.
Although it is new, it is similar to the trifle gateau cake bar and the strawberry cake at Iceland so probably made by the same manufacturer.
I loved the cake base, strawberry filling and the fluffy cream on top.

itsu rice noodles chilli miso

I don't get the green theme which is the opposite of chilli.
Anyway, thankfully it was not that spicy.

Quaker Protein Peanut butter flavour

You can really smell that peanut butter and taste it too.
It would taste nice with some caramel.

Lidl Deluxe lobster tails: Garlic butter/Garlic prosecco butter

Lidl Lobster tails are available every Christmas and I wish I tried earlier because they are really good.
You can choose from garlic butter or garlic and prosecco butter.
I found the lobsters moist, springy and tasty without the butter as they are salty on its own so I used the butter on bread.
The only difficulty is the lobster meat sticks to the shell, other than that all good.
The lobster shells are not that hard so you can easily use your hands to remove the shell.

Melis Labneh cheese balls

Spotted these balls of cheese called Labneh looking like mozzarella got them them to try.
Labneh is a soft Middle Eastern cheese made from strained yogurt.
I tried them on their own and they were so delicious, they taste like feta, salty and tangy yet really rich like Philadelphia but so much nicer.
The texture can be a bit too thick and dry on its own but I am glad I tried.
These were long life products but still tasted good.
