mama CUP Thai green curry

The mama Thai Green curry is available in the instant noodle packet or cup version.
As I have tried the instant noodles, I got the cup version.
The instant noodle is somewhat better because the cup noodle texture isn't as nice.

Urban Legend raspberry jam bakewell doughnuts

Urban Legend raspberry jam bakewell doughnuts.
When I saw these, i was instantly sold as with anything bakewell.
They are raspberry jam filled with bakewell flavoured icing.
It would be nice with cherry jam but raspberry could be nice if there are no seeds.
Anyway, took a bite and I was in heaven because I just loved that almond taste in the icing and the raspberry jam complemented it nicely giving it that jam doughnut vibes.
Well done urban legend.

Mugshot festive pigs in blanket flavoured pasta

Mugshot festive pigs in blanket flavoured pasta.
These are limited edition from last year but couldn't get my hands on them until this year.
As with all instant pasta, they don't go soft properly so I always have to use the microwave for another 40 seconds to give it a helping hand.
Unfortunately, I didn't find it tasty.
The flavour was on the artificial side and quite spicy.

New York Bakery sweet maple bagels

A strong maple aroma when you take them out the bag and you get some stickiness from the maple which go gooey when you toast it.
Overall, what you would expect from a bagel with the chewy texture and a slight maple taste.
Great with some marshmallow fluff/toasted marshmallows.

ASDA Exceptional Range: Cherry almond kisses/raspberry pistachio doughnut/black forest eclair review

As well as ASDA's bright yellow Just Essentials range, they now have an Exceptional range for the finer end and some of the items were captivating so I had to give then a try like the pistachio raspberry doughnuts and the cherry almond kisses.

Asda Exceptional Cherry Almond Kisses.
I love cherry and fresh cream so got this.
Although it is new, it looks and tastes familiar in many ways.
It looked like a whoopie as well as a doriyaki thing.
As for the taste it was comforting with two soft vanilla sponges, cherry flavoured fresh cream and a piece of cherry in the middle.
Its a bit like blackforest minus chocolate and the chocolate sponge replaced by vanilla.

Asda Exceptional pistachio raspberry doughnuts.
A few months ago Asda did these amazing pistachio croissants filled with quality pistachio paste that got me hyped so I was expecting something similar with these doughnuts.
Visually, they look like something from the cafe.
It was nice but it felt like an ordinary fresh cream jam doughnut garnished with pistachios.
The pistachio cream was  mild and could have done with a layer of that pistachio creme from the croissant.
Not bad but a bit expensive when it does not deliver your expectations.
Asda Exceptional black forest eclairs filled with chocolate mousse topped with cherry glaze and chocolate shavings.
These eclairs looked stunning, generous chocolate mousse filling but somehow it didn't taste in harmony.
It was an eclair that was sliced horizontally with chocolate in the middle like a sandwich so the mousse was not piped in through a hole.
Anyway, I found the cherry glaze a tad artificial and lacked tartness.
Overall, just stunning but wasn't that decadent.

ASDA Exceptional Range:

Heinz [scarily] good Monster Munch Pickled Onion Flavour Mayo

Heinz have been whipping up so many sauces this year that my cupboard is now overloaded with sauces from the bacon ketchup, pickle ketchup, Heinz x Morley sauce to Monster Munch!
The Secret sauce is not out on retail but you can try it at GDK!
Anyway, the Monster Munch Pickled Onion Flavour Mayo was definitely to my liking because it was really punchy and tangy yet creamy so served the purpose.
It is much better than their regular mayo because I find it more on the salad cream side.
Can't wait to use it on sandwiches, chips etc but so far I had it on chicken which was nice.

HIP HOP Drinks

A nice brand of drinks that taste natural and quench your thirst.

The sweeteners and flavours were to my liking and did not taste artificial.
