Stunning and delicious cakes from Cake Stories

Cake Stories is a really memorable brand because all their baked goodies look fantastic and they really stand out.

I still remember them from last year and this year they have some stunning cakes that really pop out especially the cherry bomb.
It's pumpkin season so time for pumpkin spice.
There so many choices that there is something for everyone.
Obviously, they know the cake trend which offerings like pistachio, cherry bakewell as well as traditional choices like carrot cake.
I was so lucky to get my hands on the pumpkin spice and the cherry bomb which were really comforting especially the pumpkin spice.
The texture and taste of the cake was seriously soft and light.
The stunning cherry bomb has an ingenious cherry base to satisfy your cherry craving as well as the cherry one top.
Most their stores are in Newcastle but you can get them through the letterbox by ordering Letterbox Bakes or Letterbox Brownios.

Black Forest Gateau tea from Pekoetea Edinburgh

Black Forest Gateau tea from Pekoetea Edinburgh
I love chocolate and cherry anything so definitely liked the Black Forest Gateau tea blend.
It has black tea, fruit pieces and vegan chocolate which melt and contain my favourite cacao nibs and cherry pieces.
I liked the way you can get two different experiences from this tea, so at the beginning you get more of a black tea and chocolate taste and as you steep it longer the berry tart taste comes through so it is always good to try it from the beginning to find how you like it as everyone is different and obviously take the tea bag out at the right you like the tea so the taste does not change.

Jersey Dairy soft serve at Caffe Culture show 2024

Serious good creamy Jersey Dairy soft serve!
Who needs Hokkaido 3.6, 4.6 etc when Jersey Milk is the best!
It is also local as well which is what we need.

Sainsburys Gingerbread Custard Cream Twists

Sainsburys gingerbread custard creams.
My favourite time of the year again when its time to splash out at the supermarkets on festive treats.
This time it was the gingerbread custard creams in a candy cane like wrapping.
The biscuits have a really nice sweet gingerbread aroma vibes to them.
You get the usual sweet custard cream biscuits with a nice gingerbread cookie taste but you don't get that heat or strong ginger kick.
I would say these are probably flavoured with gingerbread essence like gingerbread drinks.
Overall not bad with tea or coffee.
Also available are Halloween mixed brains bourbon creams.

Arya pistachio paste [No added sugar]

Seriously delicious without any sweeteners but bloody expensive for 8.99.
Once opened you have to refrigerate and consume within a week which is difficult.

Sainsburys Custard cream twists with peaches and cream filling

The peaches was cream had that artificial aroma and smell which was expected but the biscuit part was quite sweet which distracts you from that.

Sainsburys bourbon twists with black forest flavour cream filling

I was really excited with the new black forest which is sold well with that lovely green and red festive look.
Although the cherry aroma was artificial, I really enjoyed it as the chocolate biscuit complimented it so well.
Can't wait to get my hands on the gingerbread one.
