Lola's cupcakes

Lola's cupcakes have been around since 2006 but I've never tried them.
Finally tried because of the mini cupcakes so I can try more flavours.
I was drawn by this mobile cart outside Charing Cross which is different to the other ones like Tottenham court road/London Bridge because they offer more flavours like black forest, carrot cake etc.
Ended getting four because it comes in box.
Red Velvet, GF red velvet, black forest and carrot cake.
There was salted caramel, chocolate hazelnut which I would try too but the cake base was chocolate so I didn't try as the black forest was already a chocolate base.
The carrot cake was how it was meant to be with spices like cinnamon.
The buttercream/frosting is the best I've tasted so far because the texture is thick and creamy yet not sugary or crunchy without being too sweet.
Both the black forest and red velvet were equally as good.
As for the gf one, it was still nice but probably a little denser but not by much.

Um Bongo drink from Portugal

Um bongo drink made by Libby's was discontinued a few years ago and now it is back in the UK.
However the taste is totally different.
Enter Um Bongo from Portugal which I spotted at a Portuguese cafe which set me back at £2.29.
Made with 80% fruit, 20% water.
Ingredients in six languages: Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese.
This drink is made by Sumol Compal which does a lot of nectar drinks.
Just as expected, the Um Bongo drink was really good, I felt that it tasted 90% like the original.
The thing that makes it different is that the mango is more prominent whereas in the original the banana and passionfruit was the flavours to hit first.
Overall, not as disappointing as the Modern Um Bongo sold in the UK.

Hotel Chocolat Black Forest Gateaux Velvetised Cream

Who doesn't love Black forest!
The Hotel Chocolat Black Forest Gateau Velvetised Cream unites black and morello cherries with chocolate, vodka, and real cream.
It was definitely the most decadent chocolate alcoholic drink I have every had.

Mr Singh's Chilli crisps - Vegan

Mr Singh's Chilli Crisps @mrsinghsldn I love crisps so was really looking forward to trying these because it is a marriage of spices and English flavours. The one I couldn't wait to try was the Spicy Bacon & Brown sauce. Before I talk about the flavours, I really enjoyed the crisps because they are thick cut with the skin left on which gives its more punch.
They reminded me of McCxys flat thick cut crisps at one point which is good. Moving on to the flavours each one was unique and bold. Spicy Bacon & Brown Sauce As expected, I really liked them as you got strong bacon vibes and a lovely brown sauce kick with a mild spicy aftertaste. Chilli, Lemon & Cracked Salt Definitely fiery like other Indian brands eg Lxys Masala magic. The crisps are literally red with anger but the lemon could have been stronger! Spicy Tandoori Chicken These had roast chicken aroma as well as curry. Again quite spicy but enjoyable as these are comforting like a a curry and roast chicken. Chilli, Cheese & Onion These were another winner if you like cheese and onion. The onion flavour was nice and prominent, the chilli was mild and even better with thick cut crisps. Made in Old Stead root vegetable mince pies

I was really lucky to get my hands on these different yet delicious mince pies.
These are made with root vegetables which give it a different texture and taste so they were certainly memorable.
The parsnips and beetroots had a chew yet it was like candied papaya and then you get this strong alcoholic taste in it as well as cinnamon and spices.
