Discovered Sadat Afghan Bakery one night while driving past so made a note to visit someday.
Finally paid it a visit and to try something.
The shop is small so everything is in the glass cabinet.
I wasn't sure what to expect but definitely very different to English bakery and somewhat similar to Indian and Asian.
As I have already tried Afghan naans elsewhere, I got the chocolate pecan pastry which turned out really nice.
The texture is definitely nothing like Danish pastry but firmer yet still flakey like Asian Wife Cake with egg brushed on top before it was baked.
Will definitely get this again but this place is hard to get to.
