Ong Ong Buns at Westfield, Stratford

Ong Ong buns started off as a pop up shop near Brick Lane and now they are in popular demand with a shop at Seven Dials and now a pop up at Westfield.
They specialize in Asian Buns which are not that expensive at 2.50 each for 5 for 10.
As a pandan fan, I got the coconut pandan cake which looked dry but it was certainly not.
You would expect a cake texture for that name but it was not quite cakey but moist and dense which I can't quite explain.
I think it is similar to steamed cakes or those Jamaican style cakes.
But overall it was delicious and not too sweet but the pandan could have been stronger.

Delief Rabokki jjajang

Again, I don't seem to get on well with Korean snacks, this time it was Delief Rabokki jjajang cup noodles  which is a mix of noodles and bokki!
Seriously, why mix the two which is similar to the Singaporeans mixing rice noodles and egg noodles together.
The bokki is seriously chewy after microwaving it while the seasoning broth was too sweet for my liking and nothing like the jjajang taste.

Kirin Kitchen Salty litchi drink

I have always wanted to try this but Asian drinks do not sit with me well because they are so syrupy.
Anyway, my friend got this Thankfully and I did not like it because it was sweet and savoury like pocari sweat with lychee coming through.

Whittard Gyokuro tea

I didn't have any expectations so wasn't disappointed.
It lacked umami taste and it was more like sencha.
A big quantity was needed to match the good stuff but it just lacked the umami taste.

Country style food Fresh cream doughnuts

Delicious frozen doughnuts filled with fresh cream by Country style food.
It appears that these used to come in packs of six for the same price.
As well as doughnuts they supply other supermarket branded delicious desserts that were awarded the Good House Keeping taste test award.
I used to wonder why this product was ever in the frozen section as well as who would buy them because you can get fresh ones but times have changed.
The trend for fresh cream anything has gone and bakeries have stopped selling them whilst using nasty synthetic cream hence these are the only solutions.
These are also comfort treats for those working abroad where you can't get English fresh cream treats.
Anyway I am glad I tried because they are simple but delicious with fluffy cream in the middle and even more affordable than a pack of jam doughnuts at the supermarket.

Delicious creamy and malty ice cream in a crackling chocolate coating then you have that Maltesers kick from the cute little Maltesers pips which give that crunch and chewiness of the honeycomb.

Thank you for the sweet treat @treats_by_mars

Organic Brown Rice & Wakame Noodles by King Soba

I got these Organic Brown Rice & Wakame Noodles by King Soba a while ago but didn't try them until now because I wasn't sure how to have them.
Recently, I ate them delicious Gyokuro leaves with ponzu soy sauce so I decided to mixed these noodles in a similar way.
Cooking the noodles were difficult because the water literally went murky and gloopy, so did the noodles.
Perhaps, I cooked them the wrong way.
Anyway, despite the technical issues, the noodles were tasty but a bit too soft and broke easily.
