Belazu Ingredient Co, Rose Harissa Pesto

I was given this jar of Belazu Ingredient Co, Rose Harissa Pesto a while ago but I was apprehensive about trying it because Harissa can be quite spicy.

To my surprise, it was delicious and the flavour was in harmony.

You have this delicious umami tomato flavour and then a mild spicy kick along with the peppers and paprika.

The paste is so versatile you can use it on anything and I felt that it was the vegetarian alternative to nduja.

 

Baked by Rich's Minty Aero Cookie

Spotted these cookies at Coop, there was little Rolo and Aero Mint so decided to try the mint.

The cookie wasn't bad, it was chewy with a chocolately mint taste.

However it wasn't moreish so I wouldn't be buying it again.

MAMA Thai hot and sour (tom yum) flavour Instant flat rice noodle

Mama hot and sour tom yum.
These were rather disappointing.
There was no hot and sour taste.
All I got was brut fiery black pepper.

Seabrook loaded sour cream and bacon curly fries

Seabrook Sour Cream bacon & Chives curly fries.
Another tasty snack.

If you like twisty snacks then these are delicious with the sour cream and smoky flavouring.

Icelands New rhubarb custard cake

Think of it like a rhubarb trifle deconstructed and reconstructed into a cake with less custard and more cake.
Delicious!!!
Loved the rhubarb layer and cake base.

Seabrook loaded sour cream and onion rings

Tasty Seabrook sour cream rings.
At first I wasn't keen but they got moreish.
Will get my hands on the prawn cocktail flavour.

ALDI Bramwells Snack noodles: Spicy Curry flavour

The curry was also a surprise, lots of dehydrated peas and carrots while the mango sauce looked interesting as it is very light in colour compared to the Pot Noodle version.
The ingredients for the curry gave me a surprise by having cheese in it.
Even though the mango sauce looks bland, it does pack a refreshing punch.
