M&S New cheesy hot crab dip

I know its a dip but it was quite rich hence I put some on crumpets and potato cakes.
Although, it instructs you to bake it in the oven, it was fine in the microwave for 2 minutes.
I felt that oat cakes or wheat crackers are probably the best to pair with it.

Mr Gulamans agar jelly: buko pandan and black

There are so many brands of jelly in the Philippines and Mr Gulanmans is one of them.
I didn't have any expectations because the instructions were annoying as it requires you to boil the contents but I decided to ignore it and see if it dissolved with boiling water and it did.
The impressive thing is that the jelly sets faster than the gelatin ones.
Next was the taste which also impressed me because it is not sweet like this other brand so I was able to make a lovely dessert by adding sweet pandan sauce to it.
The black jelly comes in a dark green powder while the green jelly powder is blue but both changes to the corresponding colours.

Van Holten's Pickle ice pop

Not a sweet ice pop but a savoury PICKLE ice pop.
I have an acquired taste so loved it.
Tried it frozen and unfrozen where I felt frozen was best because there was an unpleasant acidic feel on the throat which was much stronger in liquid form.
Other, than that, I loved the pickle and dill vibes.
Would love to see a bloody Mary ice pop.

Kik's Tamarind sweet and salty snacks

Tamarind is a tropical fibrous fruit that looks like a bean pod.
It is used in many different dishes to give it that tangy taste.
When I spotted these Tamarind snacks I had to give them a try as I have not tried it in its natural form.
It is almost natural apart from the flavourings and does not come with the shell.
Trying the sweet one first, I expected it to be very sweet but it was very sour.
The salted flavour fared much better, it was along the lines of sweet and sour but not too salty.
You will find the stones included and the texture is soft, sticky and a bit very fibrous to eat.

Jelly and Ice cream

Jelly and Ice cream is a traditional English dessert that seems to fading away and strangely not many know about it.
I discovered it when I was at Mary's Cafe for white pudding from caffs_not_cafes post but as it was winter, the jelly and ice cream was not available or I would have ordered.
Norman's Cafe, a notable place run by top chefs serving childhood memories and old fashioned treats hence the Jelly and ice cream post on their instagram.
I have always wanted to visit Norman's Cafe but they close at 3pm so planning is required.
Recently, I phoned Mary's Cafe and they did not have the Jelly and Ice cream so I decided to make my own with the irreplaceable Hartley's Strawberry jelly and Granny Gothard's Vanilla Royal Crown.
I can't believe how I missed out on this all these years because strawberry jelly and ice cream was so comforting and simply the best dessert ever!!
It's a bit like jelly and cream but the vanilla ice cream and the strawberry flavours are a match made in heaven.
As well as the jelly, you need a quality vanilla ice cream to go with it.
Hopefully, more people will be eating this because its seriously good!

Walls ZAPP lolly

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these Zapp Lollies at a Polski shop so I had to see if they tasted the same as how they did.
I was not disappointed because they were just the same as in toffeetastic and the lollies are still a bit soft and floppy like they used to be.
