Batchelors Cup a soup - New Thai chicken & lemongrass

I didn't expect myself to like this but it wasn't bad and the lemongrass wasn't too over powering.
The chicken taste in the soup was quite comforting.

Hausa Koko millet porridge by Delight Foods

Spotted this at my local so had to give it a try as it was millet porridge which is quite different to your usual oats and rice.
I loved the fermented sourness just like injera but it was too spicy as there was chilli, cloves, ginger and all that.

spiny gourd / spine gourd vegetable

Picked this up at some Indian grocery shop and found out that it was another variant of bittermelon so I had to try it.
The appearance looked more like a berry or conker so who would have guessed it was a vegetable and its relation to a bittermelon.
These are good stir fried with onions and tomato with some spices just like bittermelon or okra and the seeds inside are crunchy and can be eaten.

7up cherry drink

I love cherry so had to try out this 7up cherry drink.
To my surprise, it is colourless and there was a lovely cherry taste.
As well as cherry, there is 7up but was in harmony with the cherry which was good.
Overall quite a nice drink as the 7up flavours do not grab you more than the cherry.

Eat Natural fruit and nut bars

Finally tried these Eat Natural fruit and nut bars.
My favourite was clearly the almond and apricot where they always pair together well as well as the tasty yoghurt coating which is not too sweet along with the lovely chewy texture.
The protein packed bar was a bit too heavy for me as it was too peanutty but the taste wasn't bad.
If I were to try their other bars in future I would go for the darker chocolate with almonds and apricots, apple, ginger and dark chocolate, cashew, blueberry and yoghurt coating!

pepsi Max

The pepsi max had a Pleasant sweetness but leaves a clinging sweet aftertaste.
Tried at room temperature and chilled.

Persian Trail mix from my Persian Prince!

I was given these nuts from my Persian Prince which were such a delight.
It was a Persian Trail mix of green raisins, chickpeas, pistachios, whole almonds, walnuts and these amazing sweet dried mulberries.
You won't want to touch a normal fruit and nut mix again!!
