Vegan Noisy snacks at IFE2022

There are so many savoury chickpea and broadbeans snacks these days with lovely flavours like salt and vinegar etc.

Noisy Snacks is another brand that does them and I like the way they offer chickpeas as well as broadbeans.

The flavours they do are quite different which is impressive.

For chickpeas, they have mango piri piri and and chip shop curry and for broadbeans they have pull pork and beef brisket which are ALL VEGAN!

In terms of texture I prefer the broadbeans which also taste better.

Tried the mango piri piri chickpeas and the brisket broadbeans.

The brisket broadbeans turned out to be really moreish and meaty even though they were vegan hence the well deserved great taste award.

The mango piri piri wasn't bad but I just prefer broadbeans because chickpeas are a bit too hard on the crunch.

Frozen cocktail POPS at IFE2022

Discovered these cocktail pops at IFE2022 so gave them a try.

There were two flavours that day: Prosecco & Peach and Pimm’s No.1, Lemonade, Cucumber, Strawberries & Mint.

The Prosecco & Peach was really impressive, it was so refreshing and not too sweet.

The Strawberry was nice but I found it too sweet for my liking.

Juici patties at IFE2022

Attended IFE2022 where I got these Juici patties because they were at the Island Delight booth.

Initially I thought they were another brand from Island delight but it turns out that they are a different brand now produced in the UK for the market here.

Tried the chicken patty and the vegan bean stew patty.

The chicken patty was really nice and the filling was like chicken curry.

The bean stew was tasty but I preferred the chicken as there was more flavour to it.

Yee Kwan chocolate miso ice cream at IFE 2022

Yee Kwan ice cream is brand of ice cream that I have always wanted to try because I have heard all sorts of good reviews about it.

I was captivated by their chocolate miso ice cream which is a bit like an Asian twist to the salted caramel.

Finally tried when I came accross their booth at IFE2022 and the founder Yee Kwan was their as well.

The chocolate miso ice cream was nice as expected and I loved that salty moreish kick so I definitely recommend it.

Until the 26th of March, you can head down to SOHO and try the new plant based almond chocolate bar for free.
Each bar is wrapped with negative quotes to convince people to try for themselves and turn the negativity into positivity.

There is a tree where you can remove the negative tweets which is a seed card with a positive one and take the card home and plant it.

I tried the smooth chocolate which was good as expected.

Previously I tried the salted caramel when it came out but was not impressed because of the crunchy caramel pieces were distracting and too sweet.

From 27th of March, you can get the biggest hot cross bun in the UK from ALDI!!

Basically it is a giant brioche hot cross bun measuring 8 inches.

Other exciting new flavours: Strawberries and Cream and Cheddar Cheese and Caramelised Onion.

PASTILITE sugar free Apple treats

Attended IFE2022 and discovered this wonderful brand called PASTILITE.
Their goals are sugar free treats made with apples.

Tried the meringue pieces which were probably the healthiest meringue I have tried because they are made with apples and egg white.

Some apples can be rather sweet which is useful in this case of making meringues.

The meringues taste just as good if not better because you can really taste the fruit in it.

I also tried the baked apple dessert which are cakes slices, again without any sugar and they are flourless.

The texture of this cake is interesting because it is like chewy squidy soreen.

You can literally taste real apple fruit in the cake because of the apple fibres in your mouth like when you eat the fruit.

Overall, I can see myself snacking on these with tea.

Currently, there are three flavours and the apple cinnamon is my favourite.
