Evian sparkling water

It has always been bottled still water for evian but now they offer sparkling which I had to try.
Water is something that I would happily drink over anything else and sparking is even better.
The new sparkling evian can itself is really nice, I like the colours and slim can design.
Overall another good sparkling choice.

Lidl vemondo courgette curry / tomato basil / beetroot horseradish spread

For Veganuary, Lidl have launched these new plant Vemond veg spreads.

There are six to choose from:
Tomato and basil
Garlic
Pineapple curry
Courgette curry
Beetroot horseradish
Aubergine

My picks are the aubergine, beetroot horseradish and tomato basil but on the first visit they only had the curry so I got the courgette curry which is light and fluffy.
I was expecting the spread to nutty and thick because of the sunflower seeds but the texture was light like mayonnaise and there were chunks of courgettes with a pickled gherkin aftertaste.

On the second visit, they had the tomato basil and the beetroot horseradish so I got them both.
Unfortunately, they both had a weird aftertaste that was sweet and and an unatural tartness.
You could definitely taste a lot of sugar.
I just felt like it was a brilliant idea executed badly had the taste was not as good as expected.
Looking at the ingredients of all of them, they either contain gherkins or agave syrup which could be the culprit.

Morrisons Meat Free Pepperoni pizza

I was so glad someone got the Morrisons Meat Free Pepperoni pizza which turned out really good because visually it looked quite artificial.
The cheese didn't really melt but the texture was soft and sticky like your regular vegan grated cheese and the tomato base was strong and tart.
The vegan pepperoni slices were tasty and quite salty but were not bad.
If the vegan pepperoni went crispy, the texture would have made it more convincing but you will find them not as waxy or as chewy as regular pepperoni.
Overall, I am so glad I tried it and definitely recommend it.

M&S Plant Kitchen chewy cherry bakewell cookies

As soon as these Plant Kitchen chewy cherry bakewell cookies by Marks came out I had to get them.
I love any cookies that are chewy and these are made with oats, almonds and cherries.
There was a lovely cherry bakewell aroma when I opened the packet.
Visually there was not much cherries compared to the product shot but the cherry bakewell taste was definitely there and the chewy texture was amazing.
You even get a cherry bakewell taste lingering for a while.
Although they are quite sweet, they are not as heavy as the regular cookies.
Overall a must try and hope they stay permanently on the shelves!
