M&S Collection Clementine / Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

The hot chocolate at Marks and Spencers are a must because they use Belgian chocolate flakes.
For Christmas, they did salted caramel and clementine so I had to get them both.
Visually they are just chocolate flakes which you can put on desserts and cakes etc.
The clementine had a really nice citrus taste but it was a bit on the sweet side, however the salted caramel was much better in terms of flavour, aroma and taste.

Coop Salted toffee chocolate popcorn

The concept of chocolate popcorn sounded good just like Joe & Sephs chocolate popcorn.
At Coop, they had a salted toffee chocolate popcorn for Christmas which is basically popcorn coated in chocolate.
The size of each popcorn is rather big and the chocolate coating was quite thick.
As for the taste, I found it rather disappointing because you couldn't taste any saltiness as well as see or taste any chewy toffee.
The taste was too sweet overall.

Toffifee review

Toffifee is a classic sweet treat with a whole hazelnut in caramel with creamy nougat and chocolate.
Most people at some point would have had one in their lives but as I don't have any pictures I decided to get them again.
Apart from being a bit too sweet, the aromatic hazelnut and caramel are really moreish.
In other countries, they have pistachio toffifee which I would love to try.

VEGAN Lindt chocolate, Easter bunnies and eggs.

The latest brand to offer vegan options following Nestle, Galaxy and Cadburys.
EXPECT to see MILKA follow on the bandwagon soon!

Aldi Egg Custard Tarts

I have been trying to get these egg custard tarts but they are always sold out!
Today was perfect, there were so many boxes and there were no queues at the counter!
What got me curious was that bellyneedsfeeding said they were rather flavourless so I thought I would give them ago because I don't like things too sweet.
I chose the box with lots of nutmeg.
Overall, it wasn't that bland but they do taste better slightly warmed and the pastry was really thick compared to other supermarket brands.

The Stennings Bakery at Carshalton Beeches

My first FRESH cream doughnut this year and it was so good.
A bit pricey but you got to support these dying breed of traditional English bakeries.
I got there late so it wasn't the full range but in a way it was good for me because I would be there ages trying to decide what to get and then getting everything.
The icing was amazing on a cold day because it was firm with a chew but the surface was not sticky.
The fresh cream is what a good doughnut is all about and the glacier cherry was a bomb.
Overall it was not too sweet and the whole thing was mess free.
It was nice that they gave me a box for the doughnut.
Will be back for their afternoon tea with cakes and scones.

Stenning's bakery is located just around the train station in this beautiful old building.
