WW Bolognese Bake 360g

Ready meals are my thing so this time I got the WW Bolognese Bake which is actually fusilli pasta topped with a béchamel sauce and minced beef bolognese sauce.
I was really impressed with this product because the texture of the fusilli was good and the you get what you paid for i.e tender minced quality beef in a delicious herby sauce where you can actually taste the oregano and basil.
Will definitely try other ready meals in the WW range.

Sainsbury's Chicken & Vegetable Broth

Winter time calls for soup so on this visit I got the Chicken & Vegetable broth.
I would describe it as a light soup packed with lots and lots of vegetables which goes well with a heavy meaty meal.
Definitely a great soup for the elderly because of the vegetables.

Sainsbury's Leek & Barbers Cheddar Soup, Taste the Difference

Missing a bit of Swiss fondue I opted to get some Leek & Barbers Cheddar Soup which did the trick.
It was great for lunch with some crusty tiger rolls.
Overall it was very comforting with the potato chunks in the soup.

Heinz Traditional Pickled Onions

It's been a while since I last had pickled onions which were available at the salad bar of secondary school.

I remembered them as tough yet crisp with a sharp taste.

Onions are a right bugger to peel so you might as well buy them so I thought I'd try Heinz traditional pickled onions.

The taste is what you would expect but they were not as crisp as the ones in memory but still good.

M&S Food Tangy brie and cranberry filo tartlets

These cranberry and brie morsels were launched for Christmas under the party food section so I decided to try them.

The brie and cranberry sauce is held in a light filo pastry which makes them moreish!

YO! sushi Chicken katsu bites

The Chicken katsu bites are basically snacks on the go but I decided to reheat them and have it with some rice.

Overall, the chicken was not bad when reheated and the coating was nice and crispy.

M&S Marks and Spencers Taste Buds Cheese & Tomato Pasta

In general, the M&S Taste Buds range are good but I have yet to try the cheese & tomato pasta.

What held me back was the cavatappi pasta because I am not really fond of that pasta but anyway finally tried it and it was surprisingly good.

Before I go into the taste, the texture of the cavatappi was really good because it was just like macaroni.

The tomato sauce was tangy and moreish with mozzarella cheese.

Overall, I am so glad I tried this ready meal.
