Juno Bamboo Water

Discovered an interesting refreshing tasty bamboo water which was inspired in Hong Kong while the founder was working there.
Bamboo water has lots of health benefits like antioxidants and immunity-boosting minerals.
In terms of taste, it was really good because it was not sweetened hence just my thing.
It was flavoured with yuzu which gives it that refreshing taste but as a curious foodie, I would love to try it without anything to see what bamboo leaves actually taste like.

Gentleman's Relish (Patum Peperium)

On my usual supermarket trips, I spotted this unusual pot which held anchovy paste inside called the Gentleman's Relish (Patum Peperium).
I have been meaning to get it but it was quite pricey so as soon as it was reduced to 1.50 to clear I bought it.
The expiry date is well beyond so it could be a sign it is not doing well as you don't find this at other supermarkets but only on amazon.
Basically, it is really salty as you can imagine hence it says use sparingly so I believe this tub is going to last for ages.
The colour and smell was like crab tomalley with a salty kick and tastes wonderful on toast.
It is salty and fishy but it wasn't peppery like the name suggests but you either hate it or love it like marmite.

M&S Crispy duck spring rolls

Duck spring rolls are a popular snacks so I decided to try the M&S version to see how it fared.
As expected the sauce was very sweet but the spring roll itself was tasty filled with lush duck meat.

M&S pulled beef & porcini tartlets

As a fan of porchini and beef I had to try these tartlets which are filled with slow cooked pulled beef and red wine jus, porcini mushrooms and a garlic and herb crumb.
Visually the herb crumb was colourful but the taste overall was too garlicky and I couldn't quite taste the porcini which was a shame.

M&S Little Shopper basket and trolley

A while back, Marks and Spencers were doing these cute shopping baskets and trolley as part of the little shopper scheme.
I ended up buying the little basket for my keepsake.

M&S plant kitchen no beef welly

As soon as I saw spotted the new Christmas plant kitchen no beef welly, I knew it was going to be good because their no salt beef bun was spot on.
Just as I expected the no beef welly was really tasty, every element in the roll was delicious.
Sainsburys also have a meat version but I felt that the plant kitchen one fared so much better because the spinach, pickled carrots and mustard really stood out.

Morrisons Taste Plant hot n spicy no prawns

I love trying plant creations from different supermarkets but it has been hard trying anything from Morrisons because it is just off the radar.
Finally tried the plant hot n spicy no prawns because someone went to Morrisons.
To be honest, the texture was bang on and similar to a bad prawn toast from a stingy takeaway that didn't put much prawn in it.
However the taste could be improved because I could just taste the spiciness and that was it.
After pairing it with lemon or some guacamole, the no prawn bites were really tasty.
