Morrisons Apple & Blackcurrant doughnuts

I love Morrisons doughnuts because they always come out with so many flavours.
The only annoyance is that they are so inconsistent because they could be loaded with jam or virtually just contain a small drop.
Different stores are different in quality.
The previous slime batch were bursting with filling and these hardly had any in it to rate how good they were.
The jam had a strong apple taste followed by faint blackcurrant.

Scone etiquette

The proper way of eating scones are slicing it in the middle and not cutting them in quarters.
These photos were taken at tea pairing event where so called influencers were cutting them in quarters.

Bird's Mousse mix - Indulgent salted caramel

The Bird's Mousse mix -  Indulgent salted caramel was spotted on Ocado so I ordered this along with my other items because I believe I have not seen this at the supermarket ever.
Finally made it one day however it didn't turn out like mousse but it was exactly the same as Angel Delight butterscotch in terms of texture and flavour.
As a fan of Angel Delight butterscotch I liked this product.

Sainsburys Mac & Cheese pigs in blanket flavour pasta pot

Last year, Sainsburys did the pigs in blanket noodles for Christmas and this year it is Mac & Cheese pigs in blanket.
With all these pot pastas and packet pastas, they always come out crispy so why don't they separate the flavouring in a sachet because the pasta just doesn't go soft easily in a thick sauce.
Anyway, I added more than the recommended amount of water.
Left it standing for longer and then microwaved it for a further 2 minutes which did the trick and defies the logic of being a convenience food!
As for the taste, it was very herby yet bland.
Overall I wouldn't buy it but it's something that comes out once a year so I didn't mind trying it for the records.
The silver lid was a bit plain and under designed because it didn't have any print or design like the lid for the Sainsburys Clementine & winter berry porridge pot.

Morrisons Green slime doughnuts

A while ago I was put off by Morrisons doughnuts because they were not well filled and it also depends which branch you go to.
The one at Sutton has been reliable for doughnuts so I go the Slime doughnuts which appear to be new but previous they have been around under the raspberry pineapple doughunt.
This batch of doughnuts were well filled and bursting with green slime.
All five were consistently filled.
Apart from the off putting colour, you get this lovely pineapple flavour so I liked them.

Sainsburys Sage & onion stuffing flavoured mayo

It has been fun trying all these different mayonnaise creations by Sainsburys.
So far my favourite is the chip shop mayo with vinegar.
Last year they had the Pigs in Blanket style mayonnaise which was not to my liking because it lacked a bacon taste.
This year, they have sage & onion stuff flavoured mayo which looks promising because I love stuffing.
Overall, I found it a bit sweet and herby.

Melissa Macaroni pastitsio Pasta No2 [buccatini]

Melissa Macaroni pastitsio Pasta No2 [buccatini] is famously used for Greek style lasagne which are layers of pastitsio with meat sauce and Greek bechamel sauce.
Compared to other buccatini I have tried, the No2 is much broader in diameter almost like udon which makes it similar to Chinese Yunnan buccatini.
Anyway, it tastes good in a soupy dish or stir fried.
