Seabrook Vs Walkers Fish and Chips Crisps

Not often do you get fish and chips flavoured crisps so when Walkers and Seabrooks launched these fish and chips flavoured crisps, I had to give them a go.
Surprisingly, Seabrooks were amazing and gave you that fish and chip feeling as well as being moreish.

Walkers on the other hand being a big brand were a disappointment as it lacked any fish and chip resemblance.

I felt that Seabrooks Fish and Chips crisps tasted similar to Burtons Fish and Chip snacks.

I didn't have any expectations but glad the fish and chip flavour is back for those who havent tried it.
However if you have tried Burtons version, you will note that they taste very different.
The Walkers version were not that convincing.
They tasted like roast chicken crisps with a hint of prawn cocktail.

M&S Marks Spencer Edamame Beans

All these years I've been eating edamame beans and I have just realized they are young soybeans because it was clearly labelled by Marks and Spencers.

They taste nothing like peas and basically taste like soy beans.

Iceland's Fully Loaded Mac & Cheeseburger Pasta

Finally tried the fully loaded mac and cheeseburger pasta.
It was as good as anticipated so I'm glad I got it but smaller icelands don't seem to stock it.
Basically it tastes like cheeseburger in pasta form with the lovely pieces of gherkin that gives it a nice balance without being too heavy.
The only thing I didn't like was the mozzarella overload which doesn't enhance the taste and I just hate stringy pieces of tasteless objects in my mouth which reminds me of stuck chewing gum being removed.

Sainsburys Rumbledethumps

I am so glad Sainsburys had Rumbledethumps because it was so delicious.
The cheesy savoy cabbage, swede and potatoes were just heaven.
Its a side dish but i demolished it all for lunch.
If you like bubble and squeak this is like the cheesy version.

M&S Marks Spencer Cherry Bakewell Loaf Cake & Pumpkin Spice Loaf Cake

M&S have launched three new loaf cakes, the cherry bakewell, carrot cake and Walnut cake.

Later, the pumpkin spice was launched.
As a cherry bakewell fan, I just had to get it.

It looked visually good with all the almond and icing on top.

The taste overall was rather sweet but nice with a strong cherry bakewell impact.

This was the same for the pumpkin spice where I found the cake base very sweet.

M&S Select farms Romanesco

Romanesco, a vegetable that I had a few times at different restaurants.
I just love the way M&S just brings you that restaurant quality vegetable to your home!!

Basically it is a broccoli that looks like a fractal and tastes like broccoli but not so grassy.
