Eel-less jellied eels, PKs Seafood at Hoxton Market

After getting my eel-less jellied eels jelly craving at Chatsworth Road Market, I discovered they had a stall at on Saturdays at Hoxton so went there the following week.
It was good to see they were doing well as quite a lot of the stuff was sold out.
I also tried the winkles which were tasty!

Sunday Victoria Park market

As well as a lovely park, there is a lovely food and produce market at Victoria park every Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
There are some familiar faces like Finest Fayre and successful stalls like Eat Lah where they now have a permanent shop at Boxpark.

Bone broths!!
Nourishing, tasty and lots of collagen from the bones when the bones are boiled.
You can simply tell when you get clear jelly broth when it has cooled down with a layer of fat on top.
I tried the beef which reminded me of Japanese ramen beef broth also made from hours and hours of boiling beef bones.
The difference with these broths and Asian broths is that they contain more meat in the process making it more nutritious and tasty.
The golden chicken is another comforting one because it is just like the roast chicken flavour profile.
There was a Thai chicken if you like coconut and all that.

A visit to the Sky Gardens

Although I am not fond of all these skyscrapers and gentrification, it is nice to have one for views of London!
Give it 10 years time, I believe these views will be gone with more tall buildings nearby!
