The brexit biscuit and Eton Mess from Political Confectioneries

Just like Jaffa Cakes, these Political BREXIT statement biscuits by @_wearepc will divide the nation but as a nation there is one thing we definitely agree on and that is tea and biscuits!

BREXIT is a fact and these delicious all butter shortbread biscuits will be a reminder every time you have tea.

I simply love the half UK flag and half EU flag which couldn't be better illustrated.

They come in an article 50 wrapping which is already a design itself that nothing fancy is required.

Moving on to "an Eton mess", the briefing biscuit which comes in a tier restriction wrapping with all the rules during lockdown.

These were indulgent white chocolate chip biscuits with strawberry chunks on a clotted cream base.

The chewy strawberry chunks and decadent white chocolate was simply delish.

M&S Select farms British Greengages

I have always wanted to try greengages because these mini plums are a lovely green.

It turns out the firms ones are sour so they are best pickled so they taste better when they are slightly soft.

Overall, I am glad I tried it because they were delicious.

Tescos new Mediterranean style pork kebabs

I was expecting them to be dry but they were delicious, tender and moist.
The tomato herb sauce flavoured it nicely and smelled like pizza when it was cooking.

Spotted these pretty rainbow lapis and blue lapis at Wonderful bakery.

Knorrs Nudle Ser z papryczka jalapeno & o smaku grillowane zeberka (Cheese Jalapeno & Grilled ribs noodles)

On my regular visit to the Polish supermarket, I found some unusual noodle finds.

This time it was cheese jalapeno and grilled rib noodles by Knorrs!
The noodles were nice and thin so they cook really quickly but the only problem was that the flavour powder clumps together when you cook it and it becomes a thick broth.

As expected they were delicious and I loved it.
The flavours were like spare ribs from the Chinese takeaway with a little sweetness and anise along with five spice.
I loved the way the noodles were thin and hangs the thick broth well.
The broth thickens just like the spare rib sauce you get at Chinese takeaways.

Knorrs cheese jalapeno noodles.
The broth/sauce sachet has the same consistent issue as the other flavour I tried.
It clumps together during the cooking process so you don't get the full flavour from it.
Overall not bad in taste.

Sainsburys apple & salted caramel danish

Treated myself to an apple & salted caramel danish from @sainsburys
They were so good especially the tart apple chunks.
The till lady was like look at the size of you and look at the size of me so I take that as a compliment.
It costs 80p while their regular danish range costs 60p which still taste great.

I was also captivated by the chocolate bakba and cinnamon whirl which I will get on my next visit.

McCoy's Ridge Cut Flame Grilled Steak & Salt & Malt Vinegar flavour Potato shaped snacks from Iceland

Earlier this year, Iceland launched these shaped potato snacks in the form of iconic Hula Hoops and Space Raiders snacks.
They were so popular and delicious that Iceland have launched more to the range, this time with McCoys which come in four flavours: Salted, flamed grilled steak and cheese and onion.

Finally got my hands on the new McCoys potato shaped snacks from Iceland. I'm so angry I paid 2 quid for them. 

They came out sticky and I was expecting them to be crisps size but 99% were so smaller than an average crisp let alone waffle fries. 

The taste wasn't bad though. If you enjoyed the beef hula hoops, then these are similar with a sweet onion aftertaste.

Later they launched the salt and vinegar which I tried as well.

It was much better than the Flamed Grilled Steak but the only problem is that it sticks to the foil when baking and when you take it out of the freezer, they are all stuck together as well which makes it difficult to prepare.
