M&S Roasted Mushroom & Mascarpone Pasta

During lockdown, restaurants visits were non existent yet M&S was able to offer many restaurant comforts especially fancy pastas.
Although lockdown is over, I appreciate the ready meals at M&S because commerically made foods tend to be consistent as they have a formula and standard.
I have eyed the Marks and Spencers Roasted Mushroom & Mascarpone Pasta for a while which is one of their popular items as it usually sold out.
The Roasted Mushroom & Mascarpone Pasta does not say much but it is actually Italian egg giglio pasta with creamy mushroom sauce, roasted mushrooms and fresh baby leaf spinach in a rich truffle and mascarpone cream.
Compared to other ready meals, the way this pasta is laid out is slightly sophisticated because there is a trivet separating the sauce the pasta.
A trivet is a thing that elevates / separates something.

Instructions for the pasta is either stir fry or the microwave and I chose to microwave it.
When it is ready, you basically remove the trivet and mix it all together.
For photos, I put the pasta on the plate an drizzled the sauce on top but after I took the photos I mixed them thoroughly together.
I could definitely understand why it was popular because the creamy mushroom sauce and the giglio pasta was good together.
There were lots of mushrooms and spinach leaves to balance it out.

M&S Cocktail sausages

I love sausages so this time I got the cocktail sausages as they would be easier to cook.
They went well with eggs, bacon and beans for breakfast.
Overall very tasty.

M&S Dry sweetcured smoked back bacon

I love bacon so this time I got the Marks & Spencers Dry sweetcured smoked back bacon.
The definition of dry cured bacon is that no water is added which makes it cook nicer in the sense that when you fry it, water does not come out and the bacon stays in shape!
The sweetcured bacon was really tasty with a lovely smoky aroma.
Overall, my breakfast was definitely complete with this tasty bacon.

Co-op Vegetable Spring rolls

I got these rolls because they reminded me of the ones at school.
They did bring back some memories but were bland in taste hence it went well with a dip.
The good thing is that they didn't drip with oil like the school ones.

Bang Bang Rice Vegetable Biryani

When I first spotted this at the shop I thought it was another product of Ko Lee Bang Bang noodles ut they are not.
Anyway, as a instant food reviewer I had to give it a try as it was rice!
So far I have tried Korean instant rice but not Indian style, although I have two Indian style instant rice by MOM brand yet to try.
Basically you just add hot water and wait 8 minutes to eat.
To be honest, the rice was soft and fluffy that you wouldn't suspect it was rehydrated.
As for the taste it was pretty nice and not too spicy but the cardamon was too strong for my liking.

Rhubarb crumble with crushed curiously cinnamon churros

As I had a fair bit of curiously cinnamon churros left, I crushed them and topped them on rhubarb to make rhubarb crumble.
