Cadbury Flake 99

Although there is 99 flake shortage, there are plenty of them at @poundland
Who remembers the 1980s wrapper where you untwist it like a sweet wrapper.
It is one of my favourite chocolates because I love the log like appearance and how crumbly it is yet it has a really velvety taste.

New Krispy Kreme colours of Summer

Krispy Kreme colours of Summer range, passionfruit Party and Raspberry Lemonade.
The raspberry is visually pretty while the passionfruit should taste nicer.
Passionfruit party: With an exotic and delicious passionfruit filling, scattered with colourful sugar crunch pieces.
Raspberry Lemonade: Tangy and fruity raspberry lemonade filling, scattered with colourful sugar crunch pieces.
Unfortunately, I missed the buy one get one free offer for these two flavours so I decided to just try the Passionfruit party first.
As expected, the passionfruit party was so decadent because it was not too sweet, the passionfruit curd in the middle was so refreshing and moreish!
I am so glad I tried.
Rating: 5/5

Raspberry Lemonade:
Basically it was just a fancy decorated iced donut filled with a prominent raspberry jam taste so no surprises there.
Rating: 3/5

Lesson learnt.
Krispy Kreme donuts are cheaper from the supermarket cabinets and the good thing is that you get to choose a nice one for photos because it is self service.
However if you like the original glazed donut then buy from the shop where you get a feedback receipt which gets you another free donut.

M&S Marks Spencer Taste Thailand Fragrant Beef Rice Noodles

Having tried the Indian and Chinese at M&S, it occurred to me that I have never tried the Thai meals so this time I got the Taste Thailand Fragrant Beef Rice Noodles to give it a go.
According to the info, it is Wok-fried British beef, medium spicy noodles, beansprout, carrots and pak choi with a Thai basil and chilli dressing.
The beef noodles were so satisfying because the beef gravy was intense and there was so much beef in the noodles.
If you like savoury noodles with a beefy taste, these noodles are for you.

M&S Halal Chicken & Vegetable Hotpot with a vegetable gravy

The chicken & Vegetable hotpot is a new addition to the Halal ready meal selection at Marks and Spencer.
Normally hotpots are made with red meat but this was chicken which is different.
Overall quite nice but more gravy would be better and it tastes a little different to the regular hotpot because of the rosemary herbs.

M&S Marks Spencer Layered Moroccan Style Houmous

Houmous is such a popular dip these days that you will find so many options.
This time I got the Layered Moroccan Style Houmous which gives your houmous that extra special touch.
It is a chunky dip made with crushed chickpeas, sesame seed paste, sultanas, lemon juice and garlic, topped with whole chickpeas, red onions and spices.
Overall, a fancy houmous to brighten your day.

M&S Marks Spencer Bang Bang Satay Dip

Marks and Spencers is just wonderful with their food range because they are so creative with mix and matching successful ingredients or even selling them on their own like sauce which are used in salad as a separate standalone dip.

The reason I tried the Bang Bang Satay Dip was that it is probably the same sauce for the Bang Bang chicken salad after checking the ingredients.
Bang Bang satay dip is made with creamy peanuts crushed with coconut, lime & a kick of red chillies.
Overall, I found it a lovely sweet and aromatic peanutty dip but I found the lemongrass annoying yet bearable.

M&S Marks Spencer Yakisoba Stir Fry Sauce

While shopping at M&S, I spotted the new Yakisoba sauce so decided to try it.
When I got the sauce, I had no choice how I would use it yet but in the Japanese cuisine you will find Yakisoba sauce used on teppanyaki style noodles.
Since I had some plant based chicken nuggets fro M&S, I decided to use the Yakisoba sauce as a dipping sauce and it was a match made in heaven.
The yakisoba sauce has this lovely savoury sharp tang which works like a BBQ sauce so I was really glad  tried the Yakisoba sauce.
