New Frozen Potato Hula Hoops and Space raiders from Iceland

Updated Sept 2021:
There is a new Salt & Vinegar hula hoops flavoured potato rings as well as McCoys to the addition:

As a fan of hula hoops crisps and space raiders, I had to get these Frozen hula hoops which were launched in 2013 but were discontinued.
Luckily, they are back in 2021 so I didn't hesitate to buy them.
At Iceland, you can get the Original Salted and BBQ Beef Hula Hoops and pickled onion / Beef Space raiders.
My local only had hula hoops so I got the ready salted.

It was hard deciding, so I got the original salted so I could see how it tastes without the BBQ beef flavouring and it also lets me add vinegar to it to get Salt and vinegar hula hoops and other spices.
The taste of these hula hoops were so friggin delicious.
They taste just like hula hoops with a fluffy potato texture.

Definitely recommend the original so you can add vinegar to it which made it heaven but they do go soggy!

Also added some @mmlsecretspice which gives you spiced hula hoops hence the reason I got the salted so you can spice it with different things.
Without a doubt they taste superb on their own but since they also had BBQ Beef hula hoops I wanted to try flavouring them but I will be getting the beef soon once I have some freezer space!!
Hula Hoops was a match made in heaven soaking the sauce from chicken butter curry and also with fried chip and lots of vinegar.

As well as the ready salted, I also got the beef which were amazing as well with a beefy flavouring and a sweet aftertaste.

I was really lucky that someone was going to another Iceland so I got them to get me the pickled onion space raiders which were stocked there.
As soon as I got them, I couldn't wait to eat them.
Opening the bag, there was a promising onion aroma.
I cooked them in the halogen oven for 10 minutes on medium heat and turned them over at 5 minutes.
Words just can't express how heavenly these oven cooked space raiders are.
They are like McCains smiles to the next level with pickled onion flavouring all the way through.
I found them more satisfying compared to the oven hula hoops because you have more starchy soft potato in ratio to the crispy surface.
The hula hoops are delish but you can keep eating them like popcorn and not get full.
So for carb lovers, I would definitely recommend these.
It would be fun if both these frozen treats had multi packs inside just like the snack version.
Since both Space raiders and Hula Hoops have beef, I plan to try the space raiders because I prefer the texture but again, I will have to rely on someone to get me them!

Finally found a branch that stocked the beef flavour space raiders but the taste was a bit disappointing.
They had a weird sour aftertaste and the beefy flavour was artificial.

Iceland Finds March 2021 & April 2021

I love Iceland because they keep coming up with great frozen treats but you seriously have to be near an Iceland warehouse to get the full choices.

The one I visit can sometimes be disappointing as they do not stock the new items or they either get sold out super quick.

On this visit, I spotted the Fully Loaded fries series:
Triple pepperoni pizza fries, hotdog loaded fries, BBQ bacon waffle fries and Mac & Cheeseburger pasta.

Sainsbury's Panini review

I love Paninis which is something that most people would order when dining at coffee shops and all that.
They turned out surprisingly good when toasted, they were like crispy flat baguettes with a chew.
For best results, I toasted them lightly so that they were still soft in the middle.
Rating: 5/5 will definitely buying this again.

Sainsbury's Indian Chicken Tikka Biryani with Basmati Rice review

I love trying out different ready meals so this time I got the Sainsbury's Indian Chicken Tikka Biryani with Basmati Rice.

As with all Sainsburys ready meals, it takes longer in the microwave in comparison with other supermarket brands.

Anyway, when it was ready, the rice was really tasty because you could really taste the chicken so it was a bit like eating chicken fried rice but I wouldn't call it a biryani as the spices were light.

The chicken pieces were woody so I just ate the rice which was fine because I didn't feel like eating meat that day.

Rating 3/5
