Mexicana vegan cheese slices with spices and Jalapeno review

Discovered these Vegan Mexicana Cheese slices at Sainsburys so decided to try them.
The texture of the slices were waxy and crumbly if you eat them like that with quite a bit of heat in them.
However, the slices tasted so much better when it was melted but they were a bit too salty yet they melted nicely like cheese.

Sainsburys Plant Pioneers shroomballs

I only tried these shroomballs because they were reduced.
The mushroom and jackfruit ingredients seemed natrual but sadly the texture was too firm and weird.
Overall tasty if you can overcome the texture or it would have been nice if they didn't add any soya.

M&S Marks and Spencers Cauliflower and Cheese

I love cauliflower and cheese so got the prepared version from M&S where you just put it in the oven.

Since I had some M&S plant kitchen no pork streaky bacon, I topped it on the Cauliflower and cheese before baking it which gave the cauliflower and cheese a nice smoky flavour with guiltless mock bacon.

As a whole the cheese was not too overwhelming so there was a nice cheesy creamy balance to the cauliflower.

Overall highly recommended.

Coop soft mild goats cheese

The coop soft mild goats cheese was reduced so decided to try it because it was similar to Brie.
The label says mild so I was expecting it to be light yet the taste was rather strong and gamey but it was quite nice.

Coop Custard filled Doughnuts

On my Coop visits, I have been tempted by their doughnuts quite a few times but never tried it because they felt a bit hard and look dry.
Ended up getting the custard filled doughnuts which I deeply regretted because the doughnuts were rancid and the dough was dry and bready.
The only good point was the light dusting of sugar and the smaller size of these doughnuts compared to other brands.

Sheldon's Cheese topped baps

After trying the oven bottom muffins from Sheldon's, I completely fell in love with this brand so ended up trying the cheese topped baps.

The cheese topped baps were so good toasted because the cheese becomes crispy and the aromatic cheese smell comes out.

It is best paired with some ham but I put some pastrami in it because that was what I had in the fridge and it was still delicious.

I can definitely imagine it being a tasty cheese bap filled with ham and spinach leaves.
