M&S Marks and Spencers 2021 Valentines! Dine at home for £20

The meal deal lets you choose a starter, main, side, dessert, chocs and wine, fizz or soft drinks for only £20!

My picks were the heart truckles, heart chorizo slices, heart shaped churros, glittering heart rose flavoured jelly, melting cheese with heart shaped oatcakes, plant kitchen no beef creamy peppercorn pies, seafood shellfish puffs.

The Collective Plant Fudge Yoghurt Review

As I am not a vegan, I have tried other yoghurts by The Collective.
This time I tried the fudge yoghurt from their Plant series which is made from a blend of oats, coconut and rice.

The texture was definitely thick but I wouldn't say it tasted like yoghrt because the taste and texture was more similar to pudding/curd yet it was really silky and light.

Strangely, I preferred their plant yoghurt over their regular yoghurt purely because of the taste.

The fudge at the bottom was sweet and dreamy while the top yoghurt layer had a mild tart taste to it.

Overall, I would definitely get this again and eat it like pudding or a dessert.

Chinese new year pudding from Peoples market - 大廚系列

 These Chinese new year puddings are from Peoples market made by 大廚系列.

Not my cup of tea but just felt like posting them.

Taro (Eddo)

Taro is a lovely root veg just like pototoes but the texture is quite different.
Some taros have a strong taste with a viscous texture.

The one here is an Eddo taro native to China.

I decided to add it in my African Okra soup with chicken and it came out nicely.

Waitrose Cheddar & Celery sandwich review

Tried this ages ago.
The cheddar and celery sandwich was quite tasty because of the cheddar was strong but overall I prefer Marks.

Waitrose Cheese & Tomato sandwich review

The Waitrose Cheese & Tomato sandwich was a bit basic as it was light and tasteless.

I believe it was due to the reduced calories so there was not much sauce or seasoning.

M&S Marks and Spencers meal for one Roast beef Yorkshire Pudding review

I love Yorkshire Pudding so the meal for one was ideal because I could have it to myself!
The large Yorkshire pudding holds the delicoius roast beef and gravy which makes it a delight the eat.

The beef slices were meaty which went well with the Yorkshire pudding and gravy and roast potatoes.
