[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Merry Berry Jelly

As well as fancy drinks with gold leaves, M&S has got a Merry Berry Jelly dessert this year which is raspberry with gold sparkles.
Overall, it tasted like the regular raspberry jelly with gold sparkles in it.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers gastropub shredded duck croquettes with cherry hoisin dip

Tried the Marks and Spencers gastropub shredded duck croquettes with cherry hoisin dip because the idea of a duck croquette and cherry hoisin dip was good.
I liked the way, they used duck for the croquette which is spiced with Asian spices like aniseed and clove.
Having duck certainly calls for hoisin sauce but I like the way they have put cherry in it to take it to the next level.
Overall, the duck croquettes were really delicious with the hoisin dip because it is the sort of thing you would find at the gastropub.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Battered Cod and Pea Fishcakes

M&S have taken fishcakes to the next level with fillings.
The crushed peas is definitely a good idea and the katsu curry is adventurous.
As a fish and chip lover I had to try the Marks and Spencers Battered Cod and Pea Fishcakes because it combine my two favourites into one!
It was easily the best fish cake topped with a layer of crushed peas in a lovely light batter.
If only I had some chips to go with it.

[Vegetable review] Jerusalem Artichoke

Jerusalem Artichokes are root vegetables that look similar to ginger.
These root vegetables are best roasted or blended into soups.
They taste like water chestnuts with an unpleasant urine smell.

[Review] Sainsbury's Apple Turnover

This time I got the apple turnover from Sainsburys because I have not tried it.
Although the apple turnover was too airy, the apple filling was just right and punchy balanced by the sweet pastry.

[Review] Sainsbury's Chocolate & Hazelnut Croissants

I am not keen on chocolate croissants because the chocolate can sometimes be too thick and overwhelming but as the chocolate hazelnut croissants were reduced I gave them a try.
To my surprise, they were fantastic especially the chocolate filling which was not too sweet and strong so I will definitely be buying this again as the croissant texture was nice and buttery.
