[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Bao Buns / Bao Burger Buns

Bao Buns or Gua bao are a popular snack in Taiwan which is why it is said to come from Taiwan but it actually originates from China.

When the Taiwanese Bao joint opened in London in 2015, it became familiar in the food scene as well as more bao competitors opening.

You can now get Bao buns at Marks and Spencers where you can use your creativity to create your own bao at home.
As well as Bao Buns, they now do the Bao Burger buns which are bigger and you get two in a pack!
They are best eaten straight out the microwave when they are soft and fluffy.

Here is my version of the bao burger filled with seabass in Nandos Peri Peri Coconut Lemon sauce garnished with M&S dill.

[Review] Gressingham Spatchcock Poussin With Salt & Pepper 450g

I love roast chicken so got the Gressingham Spatchcock Poussin with Sea Salt and Four Pepper Seasoning.
According to the Gressingham website  "their spatchcock poussin are sourced from approved farms in France and are a special breed that's naturally slow growing so you get meat that's young and tender yet thoroughly flavourful.
'Spatchcock' means the bird has been cut along the spine and spread flat for fast and even cooking."
The Spatchcock poussin definitely roasted nicely and the chicken was delicious as expected and it was tender.

[Review] Nush Dairy Free Almond Blueberry Yoghurt

I have always wanted to try dairy free yoghurts so tried the Nush Dairy Free Almond Blueberry Yoghurt.
If I had eaten it blindfolded I wouldn't have known it was dairy free because it was creamy and tasted like usual dairy yoghurt with fragrant blueberry in it.
Will definitely try their other yoghurts when I get a chance especially the cashew yoghurt and you don't normally see cashew yoghurts around.

More info about their yoghurt on the inner insert.
(Used a fork because the shop didn't have a spoon and I was on the go)

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Meal for one Four cheese ravioli

I love ravioli and gnocchi so when I saw the Marks and Spencers Meal for one Four cheese ravioli I had to get it.
The tomato and basil sauce goes really well with the cheese ravioli but I recommend letting the ravioli stand for a few minutes before eating if you don't like gooey cheese in the middle.
The flavour of the cheese is better if you leave it for a bit.
Overall, a filling and delicious meal.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Potato Gratin Dauphinois

I love potatoes and Gratin Dauphinois is one of those sides that you can order with mains but as Marks and Spencers had Potato Gratin Dauphinois I decided to try it.

After reheating it, the potato slices were quite impressive in this creamy white sauce.
However some slices were a bit on the hard side.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Count on US Roast pork loin in gravy

Previously tried the Haddock Mornay which was one of the Count on US series so decided to try the Marks and Spencers Count on US Roast pork loin in gravy because there was a good mix of cabbage, baby potatoes and pork slices.
Overall, quite a delicious meal with lots of gravy and balanced vegetables but Haddock Mornay is still my favourite in the series.
