Suntat fig jam from Germany

Suntat fig jam from Germany for 99p.
Very runny and sweet so couldn't really taste the fig.

Banga cod liver

Bloody delicious straight out the tin.
Tastes the same if not better than the pricey monkfish liver served at Japanese restaurants.

Ginsters limited edition sausage onion slice

Bought from Iceland.
Comforting in taste but strangely tasted like steak and kidney pie possibly because of the onions and gravy.

Sainsburys Banoffee cream doughnut and salted caramel choux bun

I love bakery items with fresh cream but sadly you won't find these at local bakeries anymore because of lack of demand.
On top of that, not many Sainsburys have a large bakery offering like branch.
I was drawn to all these items bursting with fresh cream that I had to sink my teeth in some so ended getting the Banoffee cream doughnut and salted caramel choux bun.
Both were good but the banoffee doughnut was a bit stale but the choux bun was ok.

Mezes Foods Lime & Coriander hummus

This was disappointing as you could not taste the coriander or lime.
It simply tasted like regular houmous with a strong lemon kick.
I added some dill to it and which saved the day.

Greggs Cherry Bakewell Muffin

Popped into Greggs and discovered a new Cherry Bakewell Muffin.
It definitely stood out because it had a pretty red white polka dot wrap contrasted by the while icing and bright red glacier cherry.
As a cherry bakewell fan, I had to get it.
Taking a bite, I was already impressed as it was not too sweet yet there were bits of chopped up cherries in the muffin.
To my surprise, there was cherry jam at the bottom which was infused with an almond taste.
Overall, I would really recommend this.

Aldi’s Next Big Things Flake Bake Jamaican beef patty

I love pasties so I just couldn't wait to get my hands on the Flake Bake Jamaican beef patty.
It was definitely moreish because of the fiery Scotch bonnet peppers.
The only thing I didn't like was the pastry because it left my tongue coated with a waxy film.

Lidl Garlic pretzel puff

The Lidl Garlic pretzel puff looked interesting so gave it a go.
There were only three left at the shop which didn't look great but as I couldn't be bothered to shop the next day, I just got one.
The problem was that they didn't look puffed up.
It tasted like garlic bread and it was quite salty and oily.
The one I got was a dud because it was quite dense which can be seen.
