R Whites lemonade

R. White's Lemonade has been around since 1845 produced by Robert and Mary White in South London
As well as drinks, they have ice pops and ice lollies now.

Various ice pop finds at Poundland

Vimto, Fruit shoot, Tango, Refreshers and Slush Puppies!

Nissin Wok Style Chilli soba (packet)

Not my cup of tea as they were a bit sweet but the heat was good as it was very spicy.

The ideal strawberry

I know it might seem trivial having a post on the ideal strawberry but it is rare to find strawberry these days with stalks that pull off probably.
Gone were the days were the days where the strawberry stalk just pulls off nicely.
It seems that commercially grown strawberries just don't do this but organic ones or ones that you grow in your garden!

Squig Square Pork Sausages

You don't often see square sausages around hence whenever I see Squig Square sausages at Morrisons it makes me want to try them.
The only time I had a square sausage was the Scottish Lorne sausage.
The Squig ones are pink in colour and remind me of Luncheon meat or sausage meat made of luncheon.
Overall, they were nice and taste a like sausage mixed with luncheon meat.

M&S British Rhubarb

I love fresh rhubarb so this time I got some rhubarb from Marks and Spencers.
Visually it is not as pretty as pink forced rhubarb but it tasted how it should.
Rhubarb is delicious with custard so I paired with with pandan custard inspired by some rhubarb pandan tarts recipe online.
The pairing of super sour rhubarb and fragrant sweet pandan custard was simply divine.

As well as desserts, you can also cook it with chicken or spare ribs.
If you cook it with spare ribs, it will taste like steamed ribs with pickled plum which is quite nice!

Lobo Thai Custard Mix Pandan Flavour

Pandan is one of my favourite things because it is simply fragrant and addictive!!
When I spotted some pandan custard mix I decided to get some and try it.
I decided to pair it with rhubarb inspired by some rhubarb pandan tart recipes online.
The pairing of the two were simply delicious because the rhubarb was super sour and the pandan custard was sweet and fragrant.
Overall, a match made in heaven.
The sachet instructions were not that correct as the custard did not thicken when stirred with boiling hot water but luckily I saw a youtube video on this product so solved it by putting it in the microwave for twenty seconds.
