Hartley's Cherry Jam

Hartleys Cherry jam is the best jar of jam but strangely I have never seen this in the UK but exported to other countries!!

This was a complete surprise as the jam was loaded with lots of whole plump cherries.

It's like a ratio of 70% cherries to Jam 🙂

As there were so many cherries I decided to add some to my bowl of oatmeal and made black cherry yoghurt milkshake with it.

It would definitely be delish with scones too.

Hartley's NEW Black Cherry Jelly

I love black cherries so when Hartley's launched the NEW Black Cherry Jelly, I got my hands on some from the supermarket.

You make them in the normal way by adding boiling water and stirring it until it dissolves then refrigerating it.

The taste of this black cherry jelly was really good and the black cherry flavouring was not too artificial.

Hartley's Strawberry Jelly 135g

If you are British, you will obviously know that jelly comes in jelly blocks before you make it.
In some other countries they come in powder form like Hartley's glitter jelly.

I decided to post this so that people can see the jelly block before it is made and I always ending eating some of it before making the jelly.

It comes in a packet like this:

When you remove the wrapper, there is a pretty jelly block that is firm and tough.

To make the jelly, it is best to cut them into squares cubes.

Obviously I ate some because some of the cubes have disappeared and they taste amazing just like that with a lovely strawberry fragrance and they are not too sweet!

You just simply add boiling water, let it dissolve and pour it into a container and let it set in the fridge for a few hours.

Here is the jelly that is ready.
It is slightly lighter in colour.

Hartley's raspberry flavour glitter jelly

I was so excited when I saw Hartley's new glitter jelly range in the supermarkets.

There are three flavours:
-Hartley's Mixed Berry Glitter Jelly
-Hartley's Raspberry Glitter Jelly
-Hartley's Strawberry Glitter Jelly

It was really hard to decide which flavour to get but in the end I chose Raspberry because I wanted the jelly to look foodogenic with a nice sparkle.

The packaging is great with a silver and pink tone to it.

Much to my excitement, I forgot to take a picture of the jelly powder and mixed it with hot water straight away.
After mixing it, you could see fine edible sparkling particles swirling round in the mixture.

When it was ready to eat, the jelly was shimmering.

The taste was like normal raspberry jelly however the texture was too soft for my liking but it could be my fault because I just couldn't wait to try it.
I thought it would be fun to try the other two flavours as well.
They were both similar in consistency but the blue one had the prettiest sparkle.
