Sainsburys mini fish pie puffs

[Sainsburys mini fish pie puffs review]
These Sainsburys mini fish pie puffs were captivating because firstly I love fish pies and they look like mini swirl buns.
To be honest, I'm quite confused why they are called puffs or even pie because its more like a fluffy bread with a crispy exterior when cooked.
There is no pastry at all so its more like a mini crispy bread burger with mash potato filling.
It was not flakey and very different to buttery puff pastry although the top half was like a roll.
Somehow, it reminded me of the dumplings you get in English stews if they were baked.
The filling was mainly mashed potato and there were not much prawns or even fish as listed in the ingredients but the percentage of prawns is very low like 18%.
(Labelled as filled with king prawns, leek and potatoes).
The taste isn't bad if you like dill and potatoes which I do but was a little oily.

Sainsbury chocolate pistachio baton (taste the difference)

The Sainsbury chocolate pistachio baton did not disappoint.
Chocolate and puff pastries always go well.
The new pistachio chocolate batons really delivered as you got this tasty pistachio curd in the middle and then I liked the chocolate chips here and there.
You can choose the ones with more/less chocolate chips to your liking.
On top of the pastry, it was studded with crushed pistachio which gave it a that overall pistachio finish.

Horlicks Pudding flavoured drinks from Poundland

Horlicks have come out with some new pudding inspired drinks to keep our winter sweet!
These are apple pie, banoffee and cherry bakewell so I had to try them.
They are £2.50 from Poundland so I got the cherry bakewell and the apple pie.
When you peel off the seal, there isn't much distinctive aroma for both flavours but when you add hot water, you can really smell the almond in the cherry bakewell.
Anyway, I felt that the cherry almond was really nice and tasted like this almond drink in Asia which is also made from some powder.
The apple pie wasn't really strong, it was like horlicks mixed with a faint flavour from apple chews or apple chewing gum.
I can imagine the banoffee tasting like artificial banana even though I haven't tried.
To summarize, probably the cherry bakewell is worth trying if you like artificial almond.

M&S roasted hazelnut chocolatine

Very tasty chocolate hazelnut pastry from M&S.
It was not too sweet with lots of chunky hazelnuts.
Much nicer than the almond cherry croissant.
As well as the bakery you can also get it at the M&S cafe.

HOCHLAND Cheese triangles (Polish)

I used to think cheese triangles were just dairylea and laughing cow but there other brands which opened my eyes.
I don't really eat processed cheese but these are worth trying.
The mushroom one is really tasty with mushroom pieces in it.
The ham is really moreish as it is very flavouful but you won't find ham pieces.
The dill was interesting as it was creamy and not quite tangy as I was expecting.
The Maasdamer cheese was nice and strong.

The other sour cream one was quite boring like philadelphia.\

Valsoi plant based gelato

Plant based Italian gelato ice creams which were lush.
The pistachio centre was really good.
