Veganuary Krispy Kreme Vegan Apple Custard Crumble doughnut reviewed

Krispy Kreme is a hit or miss for me.
For Veganuary, they have launched three new doughnuts: Apple custard crumble, caramel choc and the fudge.
The new apple custard doughnut was definitely a hit because it wasn't too sweet or oily.
I am not sure if the texture of the doughnut is different because it is vegan but I felt that is was more bready compared to the regular ones which are softer.
The filling was not well filled but decent with real apples and custard.
Overall highly recommended and will be trying the other ones.

Farmfoods Custard Slices

I love checking out Farmfoods because they have so many old school brands like seabrooks crisps and lots of great biscuits.
The Farmfood custard slices are their first branded product I bought.
I would have bought the potato stars as well but they were sold out.
I don't normally buy frozen custard slices but these were labelled as puff pastry with apricot puree which is unusual so gave them a try.
They were quite nice but the puff pastry is really hard and tough.
The custard filling is like fresh cream but rather waxy that it coats a layer of film in your mouth.
Rating: 3/5

Pukka Chicken Gravy Pie / Cheese Leek & Potato Slice / Beef Pasty review

Pukka is famous for their pies and now they have slices too.
You will find them in other countries as well.
Recently, I tried the new Cheese Leek & Potato Slice which is labelled as Sliced leeks and diced potatoes in a creamy mature cheddar sauce encased in a light, puff pastry case.
I was blown away by how tasty it was and it was really comforting because it reminded me of these cheese slices at college.

Beef Pasty review:
Overall very tasty with strong black pepper.
Tasted even better with extra cheese however the product picture is a bit off tracks because it depicts a steak when it is minced beef inside.
The minced beef quality isn't exactly that good either.

I also tried their Chicken & Gravy pie which had a beautiful flaky pastry.
The pie description says 144 layers of crispy puff pastry.
Overall good but I was expecting a bit more gravy.

Maryland cookies choc orange minis review

Everything has been chocolate orange in 2021 and there was no exception for cookies as well.
As most people know, Maryland cookies come in the regular size as well as the mini size in bags.
I tried the Maryland cookies choc orange minis which were quite enjoyable.
The orange flavouring was quite pleasant and not too artificial and the minis seem to taste better because they are not too hard but have a good crumble to them.

Ginsters Festive Chicken & Stuffing Slice

Ginsters has recently launched a new festive slice and Limited Edition Smoky Chilli Beef for Bonfire night.
I wasn't able to get hold of the smoky chilli beef but I managed to get the festive slice.
The festive slice was surprisingly good and I was so glad I got it.
It was creamy mixed with a tasty stuffing flavour.
Definitely recommend this.

Morrisons The best vanilla cheesecake

Cheesecake is just cheesecake to me.
It is not really my cup of tea so I just felt that the Morrisons version was too heavy for my liking.

Soreen Raspberry & White Choc mini loaf

For Christmas, Soreen came out with two festive mini loaves: Raspberry & White chocolate and Gingerbread.

I tried the raspberry and white chocolate which were quite nice but the raspberry flavouring was a bit artificial just like the strawberry one.
