M&S Low Fat Lean Ham - 25 slices review

I love ham and the M&S low fat lean ham slices were simply lush!
They were not too salty and the taste was just right.

M&S Breakfast Blinis

On a recent trip to M&S, I spotted these cocktail blinis and breakfast blinis in the fridge.

Without tasting them, the breakfast blinis looked almost identical to the pikelets as well as the ingredients so I decided to get a pack of breakfast blinis to see if there was any difference.

After trying the breakfast blinis, the texture is definitely different.

The pikelet has more of a crumpet springy texture while the breakfast blinis don't have that bounce.

There was also a difference in taste with a strong flour taste to it.

I had my breakfast blinis with egg which tasted really nice.

Sainsburys cheese topped rolls

Sainsburys baked goods never disappoint, this time I spotted the cheese topped rolls reduced for 10p which is a steal so grabbed a pack!

They smelled so good after toasting them because of the cheese and adding ham and pickled cabbage as filling it was simply amazing and moreish!

Chipsticks are the best

I know it sounds silly but everyone in UK should have had a packet of chipsticks before.

Sadly there are too many choices these days so things like this get neglected and I haven't blogged about this although I made a video of this before on youtube.

Chipsticks are simply delish maize snacks with punchy vinegar, there used to be salted version in red packets as well.

Hopefully one day we will see this again.

M&S 12 mini delicious pies - chicken, bacon & leek and steak and ale

I love pies so got the M&S 12 mini delicious pies since I have not tried any steak and ale pie from Marks and Spencers yet.

Although the chicken and leek was good the steak and ale really stole the show because you can really taste the ale.

The steak and ale reminded me of beef casserole with dumplings.

Salty / Salted Lemon soda

I love salted lemon soda so preserved some lemons in salt.

If it comes out nicely you should get some nice pectin jelly forming in the lemon.

When you add soda water to the salted lemon you get this moreish salted lemon soda.

Ambrosia Ice Creams Vanilla Custard

Finally found the Ambrosia ice creams!
Obviously if you are from the UK, then you should know that they are famous for custard.

For the ice creams, the ice creams, there were only two flavours: Vanilla and Fudge

I can't quite understand by they didn't make custard flavour.
The big size is a bit bothersome but the vanilla tasted amazing and similar to Cornish Vanilla ice cream.
Despite a freezing cold day, it still managed to melt outside so by the time I got home it was a bit like a thick milkshake which made it even more tasty.
