Sainsburys Turkey and stuffing pasties (10 mini)

I love turkey and stuffing so when I saw these festive pasties I had to get them.
What made me hesitate was the turkey as I wasn't sure if it would be dry inside but it turns out that the filling is minced so it is moist and tasty.
It is best paired with some cranberry sauce for that next level and festive experience.

M&S Marks and Spencers Shanghai beef udon noodles

As well as the regular Shanghai beef udon noodles there is also a plant kitchen version which I have reviewed.
The udon was really tasty with black beans and not too sweet.
Although it is not authentic, it was still good and I prefer this more than the plant version mainly because the sauce isn't too sweet.

M&S Collection 12 Vegetable & Prawn Dim Sum Selection

The dim sum that Marks and Spencers offer have been quite successful and popular.
Now they also do the vegetable & prawn dim sum selection for the M&S Collection.
You get a selection of vegetable gyozas filled with mushrooms, mangetout and asparagus, four mushroom char sui buns and four steamed prawn sui mai dumplings.
To reheat you just simply heat in the microwave for two minutes.
The prawn sui mai were really tasty and the char sui mushroom buns were not bad and the gyozas tasted how it should.

[Fruit Review] June Plum

A June Plum is a hard green fruit with green skin looking a bit like an oval apple.
I discovered it at a Jamaican stall hence got one to try.
The seed is rather fibrous so you have to be careful when you eat it so that you don't swallow because it will irritate your throat.
Apart from that, the taste was wonderful and I really loved it because the it has a savoury sharp taste which is hard to describe but it is often pickled or eaten dipped in salt.

Coop Christmas doughnut

For Christmas 2021, Coop have launched a festive doughnut.
Coop Christmas doughnut.
Before even trying it, its basically the same as the Strawberry Pavola doughnut but with festive sprinkles.
They could have taken it to the next level with cranberry jam perhaps.

Urban Legend debuts third branch at Clapham Junction

Urban Legend who are makers of low calorie and low sugar doughnuts debuts their third branch at Clapham Junction after a successful recent opening of their second branch at Croydon Boxpark.
From sunshine coast of Brighton, Urban Legend branches to East Croydon and Clapham Junction with all these guilty free doughnuts.
The Urban Legend team is giving away 10k donuts on 16th, 18th, 23rd and 24th November. Take note! As lucky street dwellers will be encouraged to grab a box and get their doughy fill over the four days.

All their doughnuts are steamed to cut the fat and they use ingredients found in roots, pears and melons which work as sugars.
To make them colourful, they use safflower and beetroot which are 100% natural.

Doughnut flavours: Fools Gold, Berry Unbelievable, Sunny Jim, Choc Party,
Monkey’s Uncle, Forbidden Forest, Glazy Days, Bubblegum Burst, Belgian Biccie, White Lie,
Sunday Crumble, Maple Blue, Double Trouble and Penny Sweet.
Grab one iced donut for £1.95, or opt for a box of three (£5.65), six (£9.95), or twelve (£14.95) to share.

All these doughnuts are under 160 calories or less which is the same as a buttered slice of toast and taste fantastic.
My favourites are Fool's gold which is basically caramel and Choc Party.
They have a lovely texture just like traditional doughnuts which have a nice chew like a gentle bagel and you won't find them oily as they are steamed.

For further details and nutritional information take a look at the Urban Legend website, Instagram, and Facebook channels.

Went back again and had the Sunday Crumble which has spiced apple glaze, vanilla custard drizzle & a buttery biscuit crumble.
It was really nice as the apple was really comforting.

Visited the newly opened Clapham Junction branch and had Penny Sweet (pineapple and raspberry inspired by fruit salads) and newly launched white lie which is strawberry and white chocolate.

A-SHA noodles reviewed

There are so many noodles out there in Taiwan from celebrity endorsed noodles to so many different brands.
I was given some A-Sha noodles from a friend which are apparently really popular at COSTCO.
There was Mandarin style noodles with soy sauce and Tainan style noodles with sesame paste.
Both were different in thickness.
The Tainan style noodles were thin which makes them quick to prefer.
Adding the sesame paste makes it really tasty yet not too sweet unlike other Asian treats.
I really liked it because they reminded me of marmite.

As for the Mandarin style noodles, they were the wide noodles with a heavy soy sauce taste.

Overall, I wouldn't mind trying other flavours.
