Lidl Oaklands Doughnut Nectarines

As well as donut peaches, you can also get doughnut nectarines which are sweet with a lovely crunch.

Araucana Blue Eggs

I haven't tried these Araucana blue eggs but they do look fascinating and I love that cool blue colour.

Hostess Chocolate cup cake

This was my first ever hostess cupcake.
I have always wanted to try them especially the limited mint chocolate edition which I can't get hold off.
They were rich and decadent without that weird alcoholic kick that you get with those long shelf life cakes.
I found them very similar in taste and quality to CuppKeyK cupcakes from the Philippines.
After trying the cupcake, I would love to get my hands on some snoballs (cakes coated in marshmallow), Danish, Pecan Spins, Jumbo Honey bun, Fruit pies, coffee cakes.

Celeriac root

Celeriac is basically the root of a celery.

It has a lovely nutty taste which can be used in soups, mashes etc.
In my dining journey I had as diced vegetable with Broccoli puree and cauliflower puree as shown below with slow cooked chicken.

M&S Chunky Tartare Sauce

As a fan of the M&S chip shop range I had to try their tartare sauce.
It turned out to amazing!
The tartare sauce was creamy yet punchy unlike other brands which are either too acidic or just lacking character.
I didn't have any fish that day so I had it with some smoked salmon on top of some a Sheldon bottom muffin which was heavenly.
It would also taste good on a bagel too if you like the chew.

M&S Sesame Prawn Toasts

Again, I love trying the Chinese at Marks and Spencers, this time I got the sesame prawn toasts which just looked appealing in the box with spring onions that give it that colour contrast.
As expected it was just as good if not better than Chinese takeaway quality.
There was a nice prawny taste as well as the spring onions.

M&S Chicken Madras

I love the curries at Marks and Spencers so got the Chicken Madras as I have not tried the M&S onee before.
According to the sleeve, the chicken madras is Spicy tomato, coconut & curry leaf sauce with tender pieces of marinated chargrilled chicken.
To my surprise, it was very spicy as labelled and tasted similar to the Chicken Jalfrezi.
