Insane sandos at Secret Sandwich Shop, Harvey Nichols

I've always wanted to visit but Nottinghill is a bit difficult as it needs effort as they close at 3ish.

The place is small so would need plan B to find somewhere to eat if it was full.
I seized the chance as they are now at Harvey Nicols with plenty of seating area. They close at 5pm which is a 2 hour bonus.
Tbh, I was meant to try Atlelier Frites that day but the fryer took off so I headed here Asap!! [in a way I was happy]
Decisions were difficult but luckily they had pictures with annotations.
Hidden on the corner was the fish sando which I would have been gutted if I didn't see it.
So my choices were now reduced to McLovin, Egg and the Fish finger.
I've already had egg elsewhere so got McLovin, it was so good I got the fish finger sando as well.
Ate half of each so the two remaining halves would fit well in the box to go for my next meal.
Anyway. Both sandwiches were heaven in different ways.
The McLovin with sausage patty is a bit like sausage muffin but higher quality.
You also get thick cut cola bacon which is meaty and the cola marinade is nothing like the weird ones in Asia.
It would be good if it was English Bacon or crispy bacon sprinkles which they use on salad.
The fish finger sando was seriously good especially the shaved purple onions that give it flavour but it wasn't a pile like the product shot. The next star was the red Leicester, two slices melted on either side of the bread where you get the lovely saltiness and cheesiness like the filet o fish.
Basically dreams come true.
The wrapping was another important factor that held the sandwich together when you ate it.
Overall, love the branding as they really stand out especially the cheeky michelin inspired logo and their branded Japanese inspired sweatshirts.
It's all about Kewpie mayo which they use and it really tastes different as it has that umami thick and creamy kick.

Pot Noodle: Fajita

Finally tried this as I was hesitant about it because of the spices.
It does contain cayenne pepper but luckily it isn't as spicy as the bombay one.

Sainsbury's New Yorker Sandwich, Taste the Difference

I have been meaning to get this Sainsburys New Yorker because it simply looks good.

The sandwich is filled with Cooked and formed British beef pastrami, tomatoes, Emmental cheese, gherkins, mustard mayonnaise and spinach on rye bread

The combination of all those ingredients were tasty especially the chunky sharp gherkins which were to my liking.

Coop also did a similar one but I felt this one was better.

aah! Bisto peri peri

Definitely very spicy with chilli yet I found it sweet lacking umami.

aah! Bisto for sausages

This was ok, it just felt like having toad in a hole.

Nissin Cup Noodles Miso Ramen Style Vegetable (made in Hungary)

This is actually quite nice compare to the rest in the range.
For a vegetable flavour the amount dehydrated veg was embarrassing consisting of 9 pieces of sweet corn, some carrots and cabbage but I wasn't bothered because I don't like them.
Miso taste was strong and you get the usual slimey texture.

M&S red diamond strawberry and creme sandwich

This was a surprise to see Marks and Spencers have these Japanese style fruit sandwiches.
Definitely tasted nicer than the ones I've tried because the strawberries are sweet and the cream filling was good sandwiched in quality bread.
Bought for 3.20 because it was a station shop.

Sea Sisters Cannery x Poon's London - Welsh Cockles in Extraordinary Chilli Oil

Sea Sisters are specialists in preserving British seafood that are in season.
I was acquainted with their seafood at some food expo, they immediately caught my eyes because of the colourful paper wrapping on the tins.
For International Women's Day, they made a special conservas of Welsh cockles with Poon's aromatic chilli oil infused with salted black beans.
There was mussels as well which is sold out but a new Whelk one will be coming out soon.
The chilli cockles are seriously good especially on crispy ciabatta which soaks up the sauce.
You get that fiery chilli and then black beans which is a match made in heaven with the cockles.
I think they would go well tossed in pasta Vongole style but not on soup noodles where they get lost and diluted.
Definitely would get these again as they so moreish and something different to cockles in vinegar with salt and pepper.
Looking forward to trying the whelks when they are launched.

Golden Wonder chippies Salt and Vinegar.

Golden Wonder chippies Salt and Vinegar.
Lots of vinegar punch in every stick.
Yum.
The bag is well filled too.

Heinz fish and chip sauce

Made with dill, parsley and gherkins.
Nice dill flavours coming through but it was on the sweet side just like the rest of the Heinz range.
My favourite sauce so far is still the heinz tomato pickle.

Sainsburys feta, spinach, pea crustless quiche

I love sharp feta and juicy peas but this quiche wasn't as nice as I hoped.
Strangely sweet and lacked some umami and sharpness from the feta.
The description looks like feta is a main ingredient but ricotta is 7% when feta is 5%.
I feel that I have been scammed from the description and ingredients label.

Sainsburys cherry bakewell scones

Finally a flavour I have always dreamed of.
Visually its intriguing because of the granulated sugar.
Again, no physical almonds or almond flavouring in the ingredients label but you can really smell a cherry bakewell aroma when you open that packet.
Definitely strong bakewell vibes in taste and smell with lots of juice plump sour cherries.
The smell is a little artificial but forgiveable, the only thing I didn't like was that granulated sugar crunch.
It would have been nice if it had an almond powder dusting instead of sugar.
