[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Plant Kitchen The No Beef Burger

There is an incredible range at Marks and Spencers especially for the Plant Kitchen section.
I loved their plant based burger selection ranging from No beef, to beetroot and chickpea.

They even had Chorizo puppies.

I decided to try the No Beef burger.

The texture and taste is very similar to the beyond burger but the flavour is much better because it tastes like the seasoning in English pork sausages and it also tastes like luncheon meat.
While it was cooking, there was also a lovely smell.
The size of the patty is also quite substantial compared to the Beyond Burger and very filling.

La Moutarderie Edmond

Discovered Edmond Fallot's mustard when I was having buffet
I loved the range especially the Basil Mustard as well as the Tarragon Mustard.
Tarragon mustard is definitely the best.

According to their website, there are even more like Walnut mustard, Red wine mustard, Green pepper mustard, curry mustard etc.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers West Country Luxury Rhubarb & Custard Yoghurt

The Marks and Spencers West Country Luxury Yoghurt series is fabulous.

There are so many flavours like Strawberries and cream, lemon curd but the three that I had to try were Rhubarb Custard, Apple Crumble and Peach Melba.

This time I tried the Marks and Spencers West Country Luxury Rhubarb & Custard Yoghurt.
The yoghurt was a vibrant yellow like custard and the taste was so comforting because it was like sweet custard with a hint of yoghurt with pieces of Timperley rhubarb in it.
It is made with ground Madagascan Vanilla pods which explains the tiny black seeds and the heavenly sweetness.
Although it was flawless, it does make me curious how it would taste if the rhubarb had been tart.

The Apple Crumble is also worth trying.

The Marks and Spencers West Country Luxury Yoghurt series is fabulous.

There are so many flavours like Strawberries and cream, lemon curd but the three that I had to try were Rhubarb Custard, Apple Crumble and Peach Melba.

This time I tried the Marks and Spencers West Country Luxury Apple Crumble Yoghurt.
The yoghurt was simply delicious and comforting as the piece of apple were sweet and crisp while there were some soft oat bits and Cinnamon in the yoghurt that give it the extra special touch.

Also tried the Marks and Spencers West Country Luxury Rhubarb & Custard Yoghurt which is really worth trying.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Passion Fruit Swiss Roll

I love Swiss rolls especially fresh cream Swiss Rolls.
The usual fillings are strawberry jam or raspberry but Marks and Spencer has two enticing ones which are chocolate and Passion Fruit.
The Marks and Spencers Passion Fruit Swiss Roll is visually pretty with orange lines which makes it really stand out from the dessert cabinet.

The Swiss Roll serves 6 but I thought that it serves 4 because I can't get enough of it.

I couldn't believe how delicious this passion fruit Swiss roll was.
The passion fruit sauce was really refreshing all the way through with the light sponge and fluffy cream.

Although I really want to get this again, I am hoping to try the chocolate Swiss Roll as well.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Count on US Chocolate Mousse

I have never counted the calories I eat but since I was in the mood for chocolate mousse I got the Marks and Spencers Count on US Chocolate Mousse.
To be honest, it tasted sinfully delicious because the mousse was so light yet the chocolate was intense that you would not suspect it was only a few calories.

The only improvement would be the packaging because the plastic cup is too thin so when you have it knocked about in your shopping bag, the air between the mousse and lid expands when the cup has pressure applied bursting the seal to open.
I discovered that the lid was not sealed when I got home but I don't whether the seal was already broken already at the shop or broke when I was carrying it home.

As well as the pots, they also do the pack of 4 version.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Chunky Thai Chicken Soup

I felt like having some soup that evening so contemplated whether or not to buy the Marks and Spencers Chunky Thai Chicken Soup.
The thing that was stopping me was the lemongrass because I'm not fond of it.
Anyway, ended up getting it.

Overall, the soup isn't bad but for someone that is not fond of lemongrass, having a small portion is good enough.
There was a nice crunch in the soup from the water chestnuts while the ginger and turmeric helped distract me from the lemongrass.
Other ingredients in the soup include rice, coconut cream and lime which I could not taste.

To summarize, the soup was different and I am glad I tried it so next time I will try another soup from the range.
