Fry's spicy 3 bean pasty review and Beef style chilli pasty

A while ago I tried Fry's vegan sausage roll which was not that memorable.
This time I tried the three bean pasty which was rather bland even though it just had a spicy kick.

Update Feb 2021.

Soreen Scream Toffee Apple mini loaves review

For Halloween, Soreen have launched two limited editon mini loaves: toffee apple and orange.
I didn't like the orange but the toffee apple was quite nice and even better when microwaved for a few seconds to give it that gooey texture.

M&S Crayfish Mango Rice Salad

I don't often see crayfish so when I saw the Crayfish salad I had to get it.
The amount of crayfish was generous and the rice was refreshing along with the mango chunks.

Iceland's Clotted cream Rice Pudding review

It has been a while since I have had rice pudding so grabbed some from Iceland because it was reduced.
Interestingly the rice pudding tastes very different when it is hot and cold.
When it is cold, it is nice and creamy without being cloyingly sweet but when it is hot, the taste is overwhelmingly sweet and creamy.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Trout filets in Watercress sauce

I love watercress sauce so ended up getting the trout fillets in watercress sauce from M&S.
The sauce is made of creme fraiche, watercress, double cream and white wine sauce with spinach.
It was interesting because when I spotted it, there were some other shoppers looking at it but were put off by the green colour.
Inevitably, it is difficult making it presentable because the sauce is all over the fish by the time you get home.
I think if the sauce was separate then you could layer the sauce on the base and then the trout on top before putting it in he oven.
Overall, I thought it was delicious because the creamy sauce was delish with lots of spinach in it and the trout was delicate.

[Review] M&S Marks and Spencers Brussels Pate with redcurrant, port & cranberry topping

I only got the Marks and Spencers Brussels Pate with redcurrant, port & cranberry topping because it was reduced.

It was only 45p and you get a ceramic dish but even at full price 1.25, it's not expensive.

The only problem was getting it out of the vacuumed sealed plastic which was hard and there was lots of liquid in between the dish and the plastic which made it hard.

As for the taste, it was your usual Brussels Pate but it was quite sweet with the layer of redcurrant and cranberry jelly.

Overall, not bad.
