Lidl For you Cream & Cherry Choux £ 3.49

I love cherry anything so when I spotted this, I had to get it.
Coming from Lidl, £3.49 for four was a bit pricey but then it's just a one off as no other supermarket is offering this.
The cream was synthetic and sweetened while the cherry filling made up for it. It wasn't like a quality cherry filling but at least it wasn't cherry puree. The choux was a bit dry though.

New McVities Jaffa Cakes Cherry

Strangely I like any non orange Jaffa cakes because of that soft cake layer, crisp chocolate and the jelly.

There are two new Jaffa cakes this year by McVities and these are the Cherry and Passionfruit which I don't think I have tried before even.

Both flavours seem tasty and I can now finally compare them to the M&S version which was good.

Out of Cherry and Passionfruit, cherry was more exciting because I think the general taste palatte in UK prefers Cherry.

Finally got my hands on some Cherry Jaffa cakes from Morrisons and every side of the box was well decorated even the barcode.

Now to the taste, I couldn't stop eating them, they were that good and Jaffa cakes tastes so much better in winter when the jelly is chewier and the cherry flavour was to the max topped with a layer of chocolate on a soft cake layer.

[Review] Milka Cherry Creme

Cherry and chocolate always go well together so when I saw Milka Cherry Creme I had to try it.
It is filled with cherry sauce in the middle so it is slightly messy when you break the chocolate into pieces but otherwise it was a wonderful chocolate.
The cherry sauce was just amazing as it was slightly tart while the chocolate was very sweet so having it with tea or something like that is great.

Milka was quite famous decades ago and then it went quiet, they are definitely revving things up recently with all these choices like cakes and other things.

[Review] Kinder Pengui Cherry

Discovered the Kinder Pengui Cherry so decided to get it because I love cherries.
It is similar to a Kinder Milk slice except that it is covered in dark chocolate.
Upon opening the wrapper, the inside was a bit sticky but the bar was intact.

Taking a bite, the filling was fluffy in the middle just like the milk filling you get for the Kinder Milk slice and in the middle was delicious cherry filling which was similar to thick jam.
The chocolate was good too and there was a thin layer of cake on the top and bottom too which can be seen on the pic.

Overall, a delicious treat.
Other flavours like coconut are available according to posts on the internet.

The other Kinder treats found at the store.

[Review] Tesco Pitted Dark Sweet Cherries 480G

I love cherries so these pitted dark cherries were a godsend in the sense that they were pitted and obviously ready to eat without washing.
They make great treats in the summer as they are 100% natural according to the label without any sweeteners yet naturally sweet.

If you eat them frozen, the texture is not rock hard but slightly soft compared to other frozen berries and fruit.

As well as eating them from frozen, they were great for blending milkshakes.

The fresh strawberries and frozen cherry milkshake was just as good as I had wanted so I would definitely get this product again.

[Review] Lidl Cherry and Custard Lattice

Tried the Lidl Cherry and Custard Lattice which was quite nice.
The only thing I didn't like the cherry filling which was a bit tart.
